My oh my, who would of thought that the rumour of Dee resigning from TS and the band continues with someone else!!???
Do you think that will happen?
Who could possibly replace Dee?
Lets think, who's available that could fill his High heels..ha ha aha.....
No really,,,, could it be someone everyone has heard of, or a new guy? Like "Ripper" Owns from Judas Priest..
I'll have to think on this a bit....hummmm Maybe I could do it....

| You know I brought this up a while ago when Dee said that this is his last year. But is it last year in nothing after 2006 or one calender year left? Any-hoo JJ and co. have implied that they would tour more. So this really made me think. It is difficult if only one does not want to continue even though they have been having a great time + success.
But who could fill Dee's shoes? I can't see it, but a major metal name could make it ok, but it wouldn't be the same. Well we'll see what happens. Would they be for example Twisted Sister + Ronnie James Dio... like Queen + Paul Rodgers. Because they should make it clear. If they are going to tour without Dee, people will still come and see Dee because a big part of people think that TS is Dee. Like Slash has been out of GnR for 10 years and there are still people at the gigs confused that he isn't there and GnR have a lot of media.
I wouldn't want to give TS up yet, but TS without Dee... I just don't know... |

TS is simply not TS without Dee.....it's the same without Jay Jay, Eddie, Mark or AJ........Remember, when AJ left, they played one year more and finished....

| Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Journey,Skid Row, Motley Crue all continued there careers when there Lead singers left the band....
It can be done..
Gotta remember, Dee has lots of stuff to do and has many ways to make a living besides doing the TS thing....
I dont think the other guys have as many options... Thats probably why JJ, Mark, Eddie and AJ want to keep goin..

I totally agree.......
BUT, since I support all the members of TS if they persue TS "2", I WILL/plan on supporting each and EVERY TS related or side project they do. Every single one of them! And if Baz is their choice for the new TS frontman, I will still be up front if able with my fist in the air, loud and proud you betcha!

I've heard some of the boyzz talk about it at different side projects. Sebastian's name came up, he was asked about it already. Baz and Dee are very good friends and have great respect for each other.

Location: Sydney | Fountainfan. You're right with the bands you mentoined, they all did go on with new singers. But the difference with twisted sister is that Priest, Sabbath, Journey(Great band) Crue all went on to record new stuff with the new singers & for me that's part of the problem, someone coming in & singing the stuff that we are all used to hearing Dee singing. It just wouldn't be the same. But if Dee was to leave & the rest of the band agreed to carry on with another singer, I feel that they would have to go into the studio. Then the band could say "OK SMF's, Dee has unfortuanately left the band but we have recruited Blackie Lawless (or Sebastian Bach or Bette Midler) & have agreed a two album deal", then they MIGHT be able to pull it off. But someone singing just Dee stuff wont work.
Of course thats in my humble opinion. |

I know AJ wasn’t on LIFS, and even though I like that album it doesn’t feel as Twisted as UTB or SH.

true TS isn't going to replace snider.
btw almost everyone except for dee aren't on LIFS. it was studio musicians because it was suppose to be a dee solo album. |
