It's not even so much that I don't like, I mean it would be fun for a Christmas party or something but I don't wanna pay a regular ticket price for my first ever Twisted Sister show if it's gonna be mostly all the Christmas stuff. Hell Iron Maiden is one of my favorate bands and I couldn't really get into the show they just played because it was the whole album and only a few classics. I mean if they were only gonna play 3 or 4 Christmas songs I would still go but if the whole tour is really based on the Christmas album I just can't do it. I have been a Twisted Sister fan for over 20 years now, the last time they played in Toronto they canceled before the show and they are in my top 3 favorate bands but to this day I have never seen them, I think after waiting 20 years for a mostly all Chrstmas show thing it would be a huge let down!

Amber - I'm in Toronto too. And I can understand 100% what you are saying.

Maiden and Twisted are my 2 all time favourite bands... I was first introduced to both of them at the same time - Powerslave and Stay Hungry - and then they toured together and that was my very first concert - Maple Leaf Gardens, Nov 30/84. And yes, I was crushed when the show on the Come Out and Play tour was cancelled (lack of ticket sales). Fortunately, since they have reunited I have had the good fortune to see them a number of times. I am just hoping this show does not get cancelled. Ticket sales have been very slow but Massey Hall really just started advertising today, and there is going to be a huge marketing campaign now through show date, so I am sure the venue can sell by then.

As far as playing whole albums - well the Maiden situation was unique. I do like the new album and liked the show, but granted they did not have to play the whole album, and I know a lot of people that were disappointed by that. Fortunately I have seen Maiden every time since that 84 show so I have seen them a number of times. On the other hand, Twisted Sister will not be playing the entire Christmas album. According to Dee's Dee Speaks update on his site last week, they will do 7 songs from the Christmas album and 10 TS songs. I guarantee they will rock your ass off. Do not miss this show!!

I could care less what they do live!! they could get up there and do two hours of Britney Spears and Madonna and I would be there if they were close or even if I had the money!! It dont matter to me what they do live just seeing the band that kept me alive is all trhat matters but of course I live in Crappy Ass dayton ohio !! Thought I was going to the pepsi roadhouse show but nope they cancelled and even though I got my hopes up about Kentucky Mark says that aint happening so I am greatfull for seeing them the 5 times I have twice here in Dayton Stay hungry tour!! and then twice in wisconsin and once in Arizona and boy did we have to play with the bills to make those shows happen! so I say if you have the chance to see them SEE THEM!!! but I just wish they could play a lot more shows not all SMF's have money to travel...so if you get the chance your Lucky!!

Hi all,

The tickets are starting to move much faster on the Massey Hall show now that they are also being sold via Ticketmaster (which only started yesterday), so Amber if your're considering it (and I agree with Corey 100%, you will not be disappointed!) you better buy ASAP.

I can't wait. I'm actually interested in seeing how they will incorporate the Christmas songs into their standard line up of material. I wonder if they'll start the set off with What You Don't Know Sure Can Hurt You, OR something like Let It Snow.

I've been lucky enough to see Twisted Sister now 3 times and Dee Snider with other projects 3 times, and they put on an awesome show every time. I'm sure this time won't be any different.

Amber. any TS show will be great. Think about how you would feel if this was the last show they did in Toronto and you missed it.
