You gotta hold out for the Rats Reunion - they do a few every year with the full original lineup. I opened one for them a few years back and it was pretty awesome.
You get Pep, Mickey, Lenny, Joe and John The Cat in one room and it's like walking into a total time warp. The feeling is similar to seeing TS nowadays - only different, because the Rats are a completely different 'tude.

Zebra is one of my close seconds along with Ruff Cut, Cintron, Guitar Pete, TT Quick, Hardcore, Rondenelli (with Ray), DC Star, etc. Zebra was awesome live. Especially the Zep set that sometimes lasted into the wee hours. I still get goosebumps when I hear the opening riff to Waitin' till the Summers Gone.
Webbie,
The original lineup is incredible. Peppi's voice and menacing prowl while swinging the Louisville into the pile of gargage cans. John's leads. The rubber rats flying at your head at lightspeed. The ladie's rear ends during "Yellow Flower". And especially the tip of the hat to Twisted... Don't Hate the Ones That Bring You Rock n' Roll.
Hate your Mommies,
Hate your Daddies,
Hate the little brats that call you fatty,
Hate the filthy refugees, hate the rich oil companies,
But don't hate the ones who bring you rock n' roll. |

Matter of fact, Pete and I are currently writing tunes together. Small world, eh?

Location: Noo Yawk | And I was in the band when we got signed by Giant Records.
Big budget, big producers, big studios, big ideas. 'Nevermind' came out halfway through the sessions, and Giant shelved our little rock record. The producers tried to make us record some Grunge stuff, but we weren't built like that.
That's entertainment!

| I always like the brothers. Good dudes. I was still green in the biz then and I was like how the fuck can they spend all that money and not put the record out. Then I realised that the music biz is basically run by morons. |

We ran in pretty much the same circles then and I've seen you play a couple of times, once at the Stage Door and once or twice at Sundance. I sang lead for LI bands Helm, Fatal Attraction, Stuttering John's Rockslide, and Way of Sorrow. If there is a way to post photos I could post Rockslide's PR photo. It would be sure to get a belly laugh.
I would kill for a copy of "Dead Soldiers's Revenge" (Axe Attack). Won't Ease Up still gets stuck in my head. Didn't "the Beast" hang with you guys as well? |

I know most them bands fairly well because they came to Stagnet Island and played the Factory/Snoopys but I have to add to that list a Band called Jesse Bolt from NC. These guys rocked and were very good musicians and a local talent Carlos Trap(p)?. This man could play the guitar like Hendrix mannerism's and all. Those were the good ole daze. AND White Lion. Vito had a band before that and use to play the Factory most Thursday nights then he and the drummer went on to form 1/2 of Lion. First album was their best. IMHO |

You know for years I always thought Vito's bands name was Trouble and someone corrected me because they were 110% sure I was wrong and followed the band much closer then I did and for the life of me I can't remember. lol I was even going to include the name Trouble in the post but didn't want to give out shit information. To be honest I DON'T KNOW. |

There is probably quite a few bands named Trouble, but the only one I knew of was LI based and had Danny Drasser on drums. He was a long time Vixen hanger on/road crew along with his brother Eddie. Eddie once had the privilage of being ripped a new asshole by Dee at the Mad Hatter in Stonybrook for being foolish enough for standing with his arms crossed directly under a ceiling light during INGUN. |

That probaby was a common name. I just went to go see them now and again because Vito didn't live to far and I would watch him play guitar at Silver Lake where we both hung out. Very good band by local standards but Lion was much better.
Was that the show where Dee says to the guy "You look like a basement rockstar" or someshit like that. lmfao |

| Hey MP, Having to put my mind at ease, I found the following on a Vito Bratta website.
Before White Lion Vito used to play guitar in a band called Dreamer together with Bruce Terkildsen (Kiss related) who used to sing and play bass
