- Attention Los Angeles SMFs! -
Dee has a great cameo appearance in a film called DEEPWATER which is playing this weekend only at the Arclight (6360 W. Sunset Blvd). Two screenings are open to the public: Saturday March 25th at 7:45pm and Monday March 27th at 5:15pm.
Oh - and it's a good movie, too!
I'll be there introducing the film and doing a Q&A afterwards. I wrote it and directed it, and some of you may remember me as the guy who started deesnider.com back in 1995.
If any of you make it to one of the screenings, PLEASE SAY HI! I always love meeting fellow Dee fans.

Luatikko - It's looking like there will be no Finnish theatrical premiere, I'm sorry to say. They're currently selling worldwide rights to the film, mostly for DVD and TV. As far as I've heard, Finland has not picked it up yet. Last I heard the US DVD release should be this fall.

EVERYONE ELSE - What, no Los Angeles SMFs??? You guys gotta come out and represent! Otherwise both of my screenings are going to be packed with boring arthouse movie types. We need to get the metal contingent in there so the room doesn't feel so stale....

Last I heard the US DVD release should be this fall.
Cool. I'll pick up mine as soon as it comes out, the trailer looks very interesting.
By the way, we have a weird little movie festival here in Helsinki, Finland next weekend. I am especially curious about this rarely seen (and banned in many countries) spanish gem "Would You Kill A Child?" from 1976.
