We've got SMF's from the good ole US of A, Germany, Mexico, Finland, England, Scotland, Spain, and all points of the world in between.

I am from NY, as the band is, but I can attest that Twisted Sister is a multi-national band in that they will play anywhere for their great fans. But the most important thing I think is that all of us SMF's are loyal mutha fuckas. We're all the sick and twisted, we're all crazy, and we all live the way of life of the band's lyrics.

To me, Twisted Sister became a "cult" following for me more than 20 years ago. And to this very day I still live and breathe Twisted Sister lyrics and mottos!

So to all the SMF's around the world........keep it going, keep demanding the band play in your hometown, remain loyal no matter how long the band keeps it going. And stay sick long after the band decides to hang it up for good.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again a thousand times over......Dee, Jay Jay, Mark, Eddie, and AJ.......thank you so much from the bottom of my heart everything you've done over the years for all of us, the sick and twisted SMF army. You guys will forever be in my heart and I'll never forget the 5 of you for as long as I live. Look at my avatar.........that tattoo is on my shoulder as a way of showing my Twisted Sister pride and saying thanks!

Long live SMF's and love live Twisted Sister!

Peace!

I'm Finnish, but I live and work in Frankfurt, Germany. So I guess I represent both of these countries :-) I'm one of the originals actually from Dee's website and been checking Slamboard too every day ever since, but as I'm doing all this from work, I hardly ever have time to write. Take care SMF's wherever you are...

I'm from Spain (like you can see..) and although I know there are more Spanish visiting this forum too, not everybody know to write in English (...and I try to write it in my best "Spanglish"...)

So, from Spain there are a lot fans more of course. Now we are waiting impantienly to see TS in live. Remember... LORCA FESTIVAL in MURCIA-SPAIN on JUNE!!! GREAT!

All the best,

Yolanda

We had the leader of the Irish SMFs (Ceannaire) posting for awhile, but I haven't seen anything from him lately (including old board). I just assumed he was in Ireland becuase he spoke of traveling to a show in the UK once and he posted under a gaelga (Irish) name.

I'm American across the board. People have told me I'm Italian but when I went to Italy they said I'm definitely not and that Americans should realize that the US hase our own nationality. Actually, it's even more than that. Since many states are larger than countries...there's definitely different cultures within each state defining our nationalities to an even finer point.

So, no doubt I am tri-state (NJ, NY), born and bread.

Hi!!!

Yes..MADRILEÑA! and right, my name is Lorena. ..it was easy...he,he,he
I´ve been a TS FAN for a lot of years, I saw the band 2 years ago here in Madrid
and it was AWESOME!

Now will have to travel to Murcia if I wanna see them again...I wish they came to Madrid and/or Barcelona, this year Lorka Festival is not going to be as good as the years before and the promoter will have a "hard rival" with the MetalWay Festival, maybe many people will have to choose..-me for example

I´m a little bit asshole...has viso lo que he hecho? el webmaster se va cagar en mis muelas, me he equuivocado al registrarme y ahora al contestar, que he puesto un nuevo post....es que hoy estoy dormida...je,je,je

Do you think the METALWAY in Gernika-Spain it will be a problem for the Lorca Festival??? .... But if METALWAY will be on July 28th, 29th and 30th! There is time to go both Festivals and it is not too much expensive if you stay in the campings, etc. (although I hate the campings...NO CAMPINGS FOR ME THANKS!) But the people...you know...love these kind Festivals and I think they will do their best to go both!

Lorca is one of the most known Festivals in Spain and To bring TS to the Lorca Festival is a great "Sweet" to make people travel to Lorca...sure!

And don't worry Lorena... el Webmaster será benévolo contigo!... ja,ja

Hi Lorena!

About Lorca, I am still thinking it ... because maybe i will go to see them to London, and there is only 10 days of different between the Lorca Festival and London Show!!! AAAGGGGGGGG! DAMN IT!

Anyway... I WOULD WANT TO GO TO BOTH! But I must find good flights to go... Do you know it is quite more expensive and difficult to travel to LORCA from Barcelona than to travel to LONDON...!!!! Well I guess it is normal... because MURCIA have less flights to go there...

I saw also a travel to Lorca by train...BUT I WOULD HAVE TO BE 8 OR 9 HOURS TRAVELING TIL TO ARRIVE TO LORCA!!! ...the same that traveling in my own car! So... I still have a mess in my head... although I will have to decide it soon!

How will you go to Lorca..? (I mean..what kind of transport??) and if is by train ...How many hours will you spend til to arrive there?

WHATTTTT????????!!!!!! WHITESNAKE????!!!!

N.P.I. LORENA! lol

In fact, 2 weeks ago I wrote a mail to the organitzation of Lorca Festival giving them the thanks to bring TWISTED SISTER!!! and also asking several great bands more to bring there, like:

- EUROPE
- WASP
- WHITESNAKE
- DEF LEPPARD
- TNT

They were very kind and they answer me very quit!:
About EUROPE...they said the band haven't plans of tour this year..., about the rest they said, with some of them were still making deals, others had budget problems or had others shows in the same date. So... I don't know exactly if the deal with WHITESNAKE is already closed...? To have them or any of those bands in Lorca together with TS it would be great!

Well, if you have more news about it... let me know please!
Anyway I check often the official web site from Lorca Festival, and they don't say nothing of Whitesnake for now...

Yolanda

Ps. This one to DONNA:

.... hey SIS if I see to DAVID COVERDALE here in Spain...Do you want I tell him something from you???

Opppss.. I forgot it...

About to travel by Bus... from Madrid the way it seems quite short... but from Barcelona by Bus it would be a bit hard . Too many hours too! Anyway I will inform about that possibility too. Thanks!

And I think the hotels will not all booked yet, not? Around of Lorca I also saw several towns quite close of it, maybe in one of them you can find some kind of hotel/hostal.
