Just wondering where you guys are staying out in LV.

I'm looking for a nice hotel, but one that won't break the bank on a webmaster's salary.

Lemme know where you're gonna be. Even if I end up not in the same hotel, maybe we can get together for a couple of cold ones (lookin' at you, MP1975!!).

I'm up for whatever...I'm partial to the hard Rock...it's always the sickest scene and you don't have to deal with children around.

$1700 for five days w/flight. A little pricey for me.

Booked the Imperial Palace for the same time for $800 less. If you're staying at the Hard Rock, let me know and I'll take a cab over.

Actually by the end of the Vegy trips I get my room comped from all the gambling so it doesn't matter what the price is.

Be great to have the SMF crew party at the Hard Rock with me.

I don't really gamble, so comps are out for me. I don't lose enough money for them to give me any freebies.

When we're all gearing up to go, let's trade cell numbers and stuff via PM. I'll come over to the Hard Rock and party, as long as it's not a work night (Saturday).

For the poor souls who can't get comped heres what I've found out so far.

Besides bringing the Mrs, the two rug rats may be coming too. lol So you know I'm looking for the cheapest possible pricing. I'm thinking of staying from Thursday to Monday, for some reason its much cheaper when you add a day on both ends, "AND" its is with 1 stop over, which I hate but $$$$$$ talks, So 5 days and 4 nights including air fare and staying at Circus Circus will cost 380.57 per person. Thats not to shabby.

I don't travel much but I do know prices change like sheets in a whore house so when you get a great price go for it.

heya kids--
For those of you staying on the strip, there is a shuttle bus that comes from the Silverton. It's not the standard cable car casino shuttle--it's a lot less frequent. Check the silverton website for more details. I can't recall if it was free or not...but I ran into our own Donna and Joe Rock on it last time. LEAVE yourself LOADS of time to catch it to the show!!!

There was no problem last year getting cabs after the show...its about a 10-15 minute ride by cab.

I'm staying by the airport since I'm flying out at an ungodly hour on Sunday, so I'll be cabbing it to the Silverton to make our get together.

man, I stayed at Clown Town last time....Circus Circus is a good name for that place. I've never seen such a mass of people in one hotel before. There was a pair of panties in the houseplant in our lobby in the morning--I thought it was a nice vegas touch. And for the record...they didn't belong to anyone in my party.

The buffet at Circus Circus is actually pretty good, and my room was decent. (I stayed in the tower)

Lookin' forward to see you fine folks again--Joe Rock, you da man!
