OK.
MP and company--I'm on the road from Sunday til Friday of next week but I will try to locate a hotel with internet--not always easy to do out here in New Mexico.

Please email me off list at terrysapp@hotmail.com and provide me with your cell phone number (if you have one) or at least, where you are staying, and what name you are staying under in case we need to ring your room.

I propose that regardless, we gather OUTSIDE the Circus Circus buffet at 3:30PM. (I need to make some calls to find out if they are even open to serve at that hour.) We meet at 3:30PM and at quarter til 4 (3:45PM) we either go inside, if they are serving, or select a nearby restaurant and go as a group. There is never a shortage of inexpensive places to eat in Vegas--there's always a buffet serving somewhere if Circus' is closed.

We can then limo it from there. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing around the Silverton--it sits in the middle of nowhere. Show is at 8pm. I believe gates open at 7pm--guessing line forms anytime...probably around 6-6:30ish. Jaysin: if there's room, I'm happy to pitch in a few bucks to pay for the limo to the casino.

Okay folks? In case I call you--my name is Terry.

Good shit.....because of the distance from the strip to Silverton....an SUV limo at $200(after tip) will be great for us if we have at least 10 people. But I just got word that it's PROM weekend and it's going to be absurd out there.

Silverton is 3 miles from the Circus Circus. Sheeeezus..i still can't believe I'm staying at that friggin joint, what a disgrace.

Hells bells!!! i just realized, I need a ticket for the show still.

yep. it's 3 miles. desert miles. I thought at first I'd walk it, but it is out there with nuthin' around it.

Christ, prom weekend. there are only a few things in life that I truly despise...and prom weekend is at the top of the list. I'm starting to be glad I'm staying at the airport...shouldn't be any prom pukers there.

Jaysin, it's probably the worst conceivable weekend to get a limo with the exception of new years maybe.... if we can't swing it and it looks too expensive, there is a shuttle van that runs free to the silverton. we can always go back to plan B and eat at the silverton. let's just be flexible and see how things pan out.
