Personally , I like Godfather -J ! and that one's for you my friend ! -- I also have a serious admiration for Eddie ! as well ! - Twisted is my Fav Band ! . You know its funny Ive heard JJ say AC -DC is his fav band - I like em too- and yet I still so love Twisted! If only one was allowed - for me that would have to be it ! Nice job Guy's !

Gary Moore was extremely nice when I met him. Don't you think Jay Jay and Eddie are the best duo going? Jeff Beck is unbelievably great, my favorite guitarist who doesn't sing, but it's different. Jay Jay and Eddie- what can I say. TS is the best! Period.

I love Criss Oliva. He was killed when he was 30 and he was absolutely phenomenal. He mastered "Eruption" when he was a young teenager. Sky was the limit for that man.

Al Pitrelli and Alex Skolnik are a sick duo when they're on stage together.

Again, that's different. I'm around players like that and I like that style too but in my spare time, give me TS with heart and soul and guts. Real rock and blues- like Keith Richards and Mick Taylor. It's Jay Jay and Eddie- I'd rather hear them play anyday.
All day.

The great thing about friends here is that you dont have to agree about everything , and your friends are still your friends. Having said that Jay Jay- to me after all those magical nights threw the years- and there were many of them to say the least, I feel you can proudly wear your name above lesses as talked about in the past. While many may not have been at all those shows, Ive seen some amasing- trully amasing work from you in Guitar playing. I say this cause no one should rob you of the magic that you "have" and have shown + shown so many times. I know how you can play - I think your absoulutly amazing-- and in the end what really matters is you know it and I and counless other's know it ! Your amazing achievments are what they are and no one can take that from you ! --- Jim -Aka JDS, aka Jimmy D, aka "TM # 1"

I have no musical ability whatsoever so I don't know what is hard to play and what isn't - I just know what SOUNDS like it must be technically very difficult. Based on this tenuous premise, the 2 guys from Dragonforce must be way up there as great guitar players.
What do the guitar players on this board think?

Hi
As a guitarist for nearly 20 years My opinion is that technique is not everything. When Yngwie Malmsteen started his neoclassical style a lot
of guys started to do the same and failed because he was not only tehcnical but also had `feeling `.
If you check out guys like Ace Frehley and the duo Eddie Ojeda and JayJay French they make solos that never tends to be to much but still are enjoyable .
