I was told by my friend at work, that she went to her friends house yesterday, and her friend has a teenage son with autism, and he is a very tall, muscular lad, but he is obsessed with Harry potter and toy trolls.

The day before yesterday her friend came home and saw her son had long deep scratches all over his face and arms and it was all breeding. so she asked him what happened. He said to his Mum, I was walking past the bus stop and I found a real troll, it was all on it's own so I took it home. So she said ok, so where's the troll then?, and he told her that it was a wild one so he locked in in the garden shed. The mum went out to the shed and opened the door and a little midget bloke came out shouting and swearing at her that he was waiting for a bus and someone grabbed him and picked him up and locked him in. The little bloke was trying to make her son put him down so he was hitting and scratching him to escape.

Awe, I'm not sure of who I should feel more sorry for- the little guy who innocently was waiting for a bus, or the Autistic teenager who thought he had a real troll.

My friend said she is going to go back to her friends house and see if she can find out what the little person was saying to her when she opened the shed door.

Hopefully you can keep us informed -- kind of interesting , Lets hope the little guy doesnt know lawyers or the law. -- Its so wierd you say this now as i was just about to ask my cousin if she would be interested in having a basement troll ( seriously -- in those words) for a while meaning me. I dont know if 6'1" qualifiies, but am thinking seriously of going back home to the north east us as in NY , Ct. I have nothing left in Florida, just living in past dreams that havent expired "quite" yet--

Yea -- must have been scarry as hell for the smaller guy I would think, can you imagine? and then getting locked up in a shed -- Thank god the mom, mum , discovered the situation. To me the little guy was the victim entiirely cause it wasnt like he was smart mouthing or a rediculous assault, he was just a victem of someones illness. Hopefully they will let the autistic person go , and can reason with him as not to do that again -- dont know much about autism - thank god. Its scarry in the world what can happen -suppose the autistic person had a gun and thought he was doing a world service --Its funny but sad and scarry too. Kind of emotional trauma id think for the smaller guy -- may not help his dreams at night any. Oh well thank god "They" were ok in the end

-------
Hopefully LA is still rockin -- I dont know where to go , been thinking sound possibilities , you know fun stuff with bands etc might be better in NY? Its terrable to have various serious skills and not know where and how best to apply them.-- Ever feel lost ? - Shoot , I feel like im locked in a shed --well for now.

Sorry to rain on everyone's parade here, but this story was just too crazy for even me.

I checked it out--and it's urban myth-- You know--one of those things my friend heard about it from a friend thing but it turns out no one was actually there. It's been circulating on the internet for awhile now.

http://www.snopes.com/embarrass/mistaken/troll.asp

Made for a very funny read though, so thanks for that! can always use a good laugh, and this board is full of them!

Thank god , and thank you Terry for getting the low down as it were. I dont know why peeps write disperaging things that haunt peeps ( not you limes) as im pretty sure you, I would think thought it was valid. Some of the movies I see etc, its scarry to think what goes through some peoples minds that can actually write demented really sick stuff. I couldnt write like that if I tried.Well I dont think id want to.

Armadillo- not trying to be stubborn, but my friend is NOT  a fucking bull shitter, she doesn't joke like that. maybe midgets are often mistaken by people with mental disorders, but this did happen by a my work friend's friend, I do believe her as I know the woman from work very well, but you may believe what you like. I am sure there is probably many cases simular but I wouldn't rule out something when a person is a near sixty year old woman who doesn't talk crap.

Okay...okay.....but just check out www.snopes.com
the story you told was one that I heard a version of here stateside...just a variation of it....and when you read the website, it talks about how that story has circulated the globe. It's certainly possible that it originated from an actual event, and then the re-telling of it changed the story a bit....so perhaps your friend was the original story.

I already saw what you have found, but my friend is not computer literate. she doesn't own a computer. But it sounds like to me you are saying because one person has an experience in one part of the world- or someone makes a story up- you are set on the idea nothing can ever happen in another part of the world EG: say for instance if someone sliced off their finger with an electric meat slicer- then it will NEVER happen anywhere else in the world?.

If that's the case you are shallow. No wonder 'old school T.S fans' like Cherokee girl left this site.

Hi LIMES
that's actually not what I'm saying at all--it's possible that if something happened to your friend's friend, and they told other people about it--that when the story gets re-told to other people (either verbally or written) that the story gets changed in the telling. And then you have the story circulating all over the globe in various versions.

I've obviously struck a nerve here and offended you, and I certainly do apologize. And I would hope that you would never leave the slamboard as you really do make valuable contributions to it.

Please forgive me as certainly not my deal --m Terry I think your awesome , yea a awesome smart friend,Fellow firefighter ! , despite stupid things ive said that just out of human kindness and thought I shouldnt have , saw a possibility to get involved with the WWE - for real in a production /Music pepro way ( havent given that one up yet -- well musically,We all make mistakes , sometimes the peeps you feel the closest to , you let your gauard down and stupid things happen cause in a wierd way you feel so close to them , usually I feel really bad about mine later , hope you forgave me for that stupidity and and we are still great friends - This world is bizzare enough that similar events could have happened at a close proximity in time - I dont know , I d give the story the consideration of the truth as limes really has nothing to gain by any thing other - Shes not a magazine editor that can profit by sales for a hot story . And once again please forgive me both as I shouldnt get involved, but I know you both as true kind awesome peeps , I love you both in your own ways .

I actually have seen right here in little Hobe Sound Fl considences that amazxed me -time wise ----I like limes and Terry as I do Cyndi and so many of my smf true friends. - You guys are all on such a high level compared to most. We all are on a high level musically cause we are here on the TS site - That to me alone shows we have extreamly high tastes in state of knowing extrordinary musicians, music, the worlds best possably and music. To me while once again I should have just stayed quiet- I love you all - We TS peeps are in a league that is on a extreamly high standard-- How lucky we are to have had the opertunity to know our other friends that share such a high level-- rare fenomina - god Bless you all as my friends - I have little way of adiquately expressing how cool you guys are and what a wonderful gift in life you have ment to me -- every minuite has been such a fun awesome experience - For me just meeting new peeps at the Pod hotel x-mas show year before last , the fantastic times will last me for eternity-- you guys rock ! --Oh and sorry to the girl next door that me and my friends kept up a little late one - the second night .

--------
Dont forget ol Jim for True HI -FI - PA needs, Not allways cheep , I really , raally do what I can to be fair ( not me so much as what the stuff is ) but I do what I can to be fair - I noticed the EV stage monitor in Donnas sing along was dam near as big as the stage amp-- Picture angle considered .We can fix all that -presentation and sound quality means alot -- yea I do love EV - yea Im a big EV Fan ( Electrovoice) they make some real kick azz great bottoms , that just hold up really well under extreame high industrial , tough , pushing em hard use where ive hit some pretty low lows at high gain levels -- speakers and cabinets- that are tough , stand up real well and run with the right amps and equalization - to me are really impressive , I have nothing to gain so far either - but a good product ! - I love my 18" bottoms, have been amazed at some of the sound reproduction -- way to go EV. Lmao -- The PV makes some good horn tops for highs too. too. -also a tough relieable product -- well for me . -- God I so love music -- I need my SMF friends help - to give them extrordinary sound, and get a career i love,
I love Music - its so my dream ---

OK, OK, I realise that this is probably not a great idea and I never usually get involved in mindless mud-slinging, or taking of sides, especially when I don't know what the hell the arguement is really all about in the first place, however......
.........it just occured to me, that if your gonna take up 40 inches of Slamboard space, when a few sentences would be more than sufficent; it might be an idea to make some kind of sense by the end of it.
To paraphrase Steve Martin, " when your telling your little stories, here's an idea, HAVE A POINT!!"

I just hope at the end of the day that we are all best friends-- we really do have so much in common, We have all been guilty of being a bit wordy,( I know me too) and writing before sufficient thought . Life can be so short , I feel we are in such a "special place", hopefully we can make the most of it, ( burry any hatchets) before its gone- I am so very scared that may be way to short a time.( maybe way to short a time)

Us , TS , this awesome music technology, The love we have at our disposal. I just pray we make the best of it before its gone. look at how fast the bar days came and went , scary quick and our time , it wont last forever., I wish it could .I dont think its awesomeness will ever be matched. As our trully so wise sister Cyn said , some times "nuff has been said",Well said that sort of right Cyn, To me its allmost like I wish you " ALL" my best love while I still can. Im sorry for those ive hurt in some of my words.I will try not to do that anymore.- You guys trully are the best. Ok no more gloom and doom -- hopefully all best of times ! and lets rock out the hell of what we have left !
Like Cyndi said , I want to live it up big and slide my demise in sideways ! totally used up. How awesome and profoundly wise.

Yea -- They call them circuit breakers here in the US. In your case a overloaded one more than likely. They save a lot of potential fires by protecting wire size . See your electrical buddy Jim should have known about that, maybe could have saved you a little time and hassle. -- Oh well
Its cool the way you change your pictures ,one of them wound up on my desk top -- not as my desk top but on it. Its fun to look at, once and a while. wish I had pics of all my slamboard buds. Yeap and hair straitening is a prob for me as well sometimes, us guys can suffer from this affliction as well. Blokes ? can be ok.

Oh Jim- poor me. I am still learning after all these years. In my old life I never had to deal with the Bills and tax question papers. All I done was go to work, cook clean, shop care for kids, care for 3 dogs, 2 rabbits & 5 cats, and house decorating (wall papering/tiling). Now I have nothing but Bills, question documents, learning what to do if something goes wrong..AND going to work, all the obvious house work shopping & cooking.

Not even sure if I can still call myself a true Twisted sister fan. I left behind most of my C.D's and all of my vinyl T.S albums/singles. The only ones I brought with me were the two C.D's JJ french personally sent me, and one that Eddie signed, only got my ac/dc stuff. can't even get it all back coz my EX had dumped them all. Neeever mind, I'll just have to wait until I am re-stable with money and when I am set, I will be able to re-buy them- sadly I'll never see my vinyls again, I had EVERY ONE of them ... English and American versions.

Dear Limes, I can sympathize with your situation and do, got kind of hung out to dry myself. But You seem to deal with it all quite well, you know from here, what I can see. While I cant speak for the band, I think you will allways be considered a TS "PEEP" ( at your desire should that be so) if you will.
Sort of in the blood, well to me.Its hard to pack and move , big job. Knowing the little bit that I do about what happend to you, I think you should be proud of yourself for the way you have done all this on your own, In not much time also. Delt with many difficult situations, well you know. Its also a shame to hear about the vinal loss, I have some vinal also but, I wasnt a real big vinal fan. As far as the format , but having a collection as you stated is really quite something. I dont know Limes, To me I wouldnt do that to someone I hated , destroy a prized collection that was special to them especially for a collection such as yours.
I hope that you have happiness and peace of mind knowing that your above ( behavior like that ) that kind of stuff in your life. You must be pissed as Im fairly sure alot of that awesome collection you had is no dout out of print. It seems mean what some people will do in personal situations like what happened to you. Thank god for Friends , dont you think? while it can be a mean, cruel , lonly etc etc world, I admire the way you have done what you have, and delt with adverse situations. The kind of person you are is a inspiration to me .

Not Bad Limes !, at all ! Your words to gods ear. Shoot me? id give my mom a hug for a joke like that -- What a cool Mum ! = Oppps -- oh --And Yea, To me TS is so Good , its allmost like they dont realize when you have the top or have your band and production on it the only way is down. They had it perfect years ago , I thought . Me I got some great I think newer stuff - Not sure of all the titles -- To me I agree, They still know how to rock . I think Mark Mendoza said it well years ago , that TS consisted of seriously skilled musicians or somethng to that effect -- I agree 100% with you .
