Hello everybody,
Just curious know what you all have in your Twisted Sister collection? Like for example, LP's, tapes, videos, dvd's, posters, t-shirts, buttons/pin backs, tour books, etc. I'm not looking to buy or sell, just curious. For starters I have some extremely old magazine clippings/ music videos on VHS, plus Dvd's, a sew on patch, and several LP's (long play 33 1/3 records) for those, who may not know what an LP is. I doubt anybody but myself still listens to those. I also have old cassette tapes, too.
I became a fan of Twisted Sister when I was just 15 years old. By then, in the early 1990s Twisted Sister were unheard of in my peer group.

Well, once again where I dont know if appropriate -- WELCOME TO THE SLAMBOARD ! As per the question, I have a lot of old Vinal, Even 45's and EP's from the bars of TS . I have several CD's , but best of all "Education" ! and memories ! - I so hope to expand these in my future with this band -- well that would be my dream. That would be my best dream .

Poor me-used to have all records-LP's as well as singles- American versions as well as English, posters,DVD's & CD's, t.shirts- you name it... even autographs I now have next to nothing- all left behind at my ex's house (I think he dumped them to spite me)...thank God for 'youtube!' LOL.

Not too bothered tho, I will probably buy the c.d's all back- couldn't no longer play the records anyway. As for the autographs- maybe I could get someone to replace them... CYNDI... DONNA????? lol.

This is a great thread to show-off ;-).

Well, I still got tons of vinyl. It's basically everything TS ever released from every country I could get my hands on incl. var. bootleg LPs, promo copies, test-pressings etc. etc. - most of these pop up on ebay every now and then so I would say there's not much which is impossible to get nowadays. My biggest treasures, however, are three 10" metal acetates which I bought at an auction (not ebay) some years ago and which came directly from producer Eddie Kramer's vaults. It's two different acetates with different dates on 'em for "Bad boys of Rock'n'Roll" and one for "Ladie's boy". Since I have not listened to any of these to this day (too lazy set up my record player again), I can't tell the difference between the two "B.b.o. R'N'R" versions. I suppose one is the version that got released on the 7" single but I think and hope that the second version is different because this would definitely be something unheard by most S.M.F.s.

If my main computer was working I could post some pics but unfortunately it's down'n'dead at the moment.

Stay sick

Lady's Boy -

My collection is very similar to yours. You have a few singles that I do not, and I have a few more bootlegs.

However, there are a couple related releases that I am surprised are missing from your list:
Widowmaker - 2nd CD Stand By For Pain
Dee Snider - Never Let The Bastards Wear You Down

I am guessing you know of them?

Yes I do know of them, but I don't have them. "Never Let.." I have dubbed on tape but that doesn't count. As for the 2nd Widomaker CD, then I only heard one song from it, the one they did the video for..didn't excite me much at that time, I thought it was too modern sounding

I can picture the video, but I can't recall if it was for Killing Time or Long Gone. I can understand what you're saying about the different sound, but certainly some great songs on the album in my books, especially The Iron Road...killer track.

I have every album Dee has ever recorded, all on CD. As far as rarities go, I bought most of my Twisted Sister collection back in the day, so some of it might be sought after; not sure, never checked eBay as I've never considered selling it. I have various 7" and 12" vinyls; both Twisted's VHS videos (Stay Hungry live and Come Out And Play); all the Twisted albums (apart from Under The Blade) on cassette; the original Secret Records Under The Blade; Rough Cuts (signed); and probably lots more, but it's all in the loft!
