If any SMF needs a ticket for the show I have a spare and will be in the Salisbury around 6 pm. You can have it at a discount. I will be the dude with curly blond hair and a TS t shirt (that probably desciribes half the pub).

Hi Patrick i go the the academy quite a bit and personally from the actual piccadilly train station i would get a black cab right outside as it will only cost you maybe the price of a beer.If you insist on walking email me at stevencsteve@aol.com and will give you specific directions. It doesnt look far away from the station on a map but i've walked it and bleeding Oxford Street is a lot longer than you think once you start off.Its maybe a good 15-20 mins walk.

The Salisbury is near the Palace Theatre and Oxford Road Station look for the railway bridge and the pub is hidden away down a short cobbled street just before the bridge.

Anyone travelling by train - your ticket should cover you for Manchester Central so either get the Metrolink to St Peter's Square or the train to Oxford Road Station (both ideal to meet up at the Salisbury)

I've also got a spare ticket if anyone needs one - I'll be in the Salisbury glasses, long blonde hair and wearing a Lordi T-Shirt

Hi all, I'm going to the gig tomorrow night, not sure if I'll get to the Salisbury, have to go home & change from work gear first, but for anyone who doesn't know Manchester then I can heartily suggest the Lass O' Gowry on Charles street which runs between princess street & the BBC on Oxford road. Also I noticed that someone, Hammerhead I think it was mentioned meeting in the Oxford just up the road from the academy, is anyone going to be there?

As for travel, all buses in the 40's run from Picadilly gardens up Oxford road or you can get the tram to St Peter's Square & walk. Be warned it's quite a long way but if you planning on stopping at a few hostelry's en route it's a good idea.

Cheers all

I am still recovering from a fantastic night.

I really dont know what to say that hasnt been said a thousand times before on these boards - TS were awesome - again.

If I remember correctly the set list was almost the same as at Glasgow only STAY HUNGRY was replace by I AM, I'M ME and SMF was included in the encores.

The only thing missing from the night was DESTROYER.

I am still hoping that I will get to see them again at least one more time before they call it a day.

I managed to get some pics of the show, apologies for the blur on some of them but it was difficult to get everything to stay still (me and the band members) at the same time

Manchester rocked! That gig was way better than Glasgow, both Twisted and Hanoi! Great show! What happened to the fog at the beginning though? Did everything get used up at Glasgow already??? Anyway, thanks for 2 great nights! See you again at Rock of Ages!

Has anyone taken pictures when Michael and Andy (from Hanoi) were up on stage with TS and could mail them to me?? I took about 170 pictures and my battery gave up on me just when they went on stage!
