Uk smfs...where r u? I have free tix to metal hammer awards show feat TS JUne 13 in london
but from other posts on here (see Shows TBA thread)I know some SMF's don't do twitter - however I also know that some of the loyalists SMF's hang out on here and I don't want them to miss the opportunity of requesting tickets. So I thought if we put our requests all in one thread - I will tweet (such a silly word!!) JJ and ask him read this thread.
I would respectfully ask we only add requests to JJ in this thread - as to not give him too much waffle to wade through. It is also my thought that this gives us slightly more space to state our claim -i.e. RockyRandall seeing the band in NYC last month etc (it still seems odd we can get tickets on the other side of the world quite easily but have difficulties when they play less then 100 miles from home!!!).
I would also respectfully remind any 'tourists' that stumble across this page that we SMF's are a loyal, tight bunch of people who often meet for a beer (or chessecake - that's very rock 'n' roll) before or after a gig so don't try 'blagging' tickets by saying you waited in line for 12hrs in the snow to see the band last year (if you didn't) - coz chances are somebody here would have there - and will find you out.

As I tried to put in my tweet reply - don't let my wheelchair put you off - I'm sure your tickets are just general admission - but I'm happy with that - I'll argue my case at the venue - my chair wasn't a barrier in NYC or Boston (or the other 24 reunion shows I have attended). Could somebody clarify the situation? Would love to attend this show, as I can't make Download. Have'nt seen the boys since Arrow in 2008! I need a TWISTED fix!! |

Count me in for a pair as I had already entered the Metal Hammer competition to try winning tickets for the event.
Hoping to see all the usual suspects at Donington and if we could meet up in London on the Monday as well it would be worth taking the day off work and driving down to the smoke!!
It would be a bit of a bugger if the real die hards couldn't manage to get hold of tickets so fingers crossed for now.

Paul Dee , Leeds (UK). Yes Paul, will be great if we can get a big gang of Slamboarders together again - always makes the gig extra special. Got my days off sorted just in case (gonna be working some bloody awful shifts around then though!!) and checked out the transport. Just need to wait and see if it works out now. Fingers crossed.
