Congratulations, you have won a pair of tickets to attend the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards 2011! In the next week or so you will be receiving your tickets, and a full letter giving you all of the information you’ll need.
Just a reminder, the Awards take place on Monday 13th June, at the Indigo2 in the O2 complex, North Greenwich, London. Doors open at 6pm.
If you will not be able to attend, please let us know by replying to this email, as we can then reallocate the tickets to other fans that have entered the competition.

Just need to make sure the TS lights are in good order for this one - I won't wear them at Donington as it will be too early in the evening. See you all in London.

Eoineo - I'm sorry you haven't got an email YET - hope a SMF will have a spare one for you - I wouldn't be surprised if was because you were from outside England - they just don't know how sick you really are.
Patrick - Yeah I'm sorry you are not making it over - but you have Greece +1 (is it Czech or Madrid?) to look forward too. I'm sure you will do good meeting up with Marty again - as well as Terry (Armidillo) & Urosh in Greece.
RockyRandall - yeah a beer (or at least a coffee as I'm driving home after the gig) sounds like a great plan.

BTW - did I mention the fee would be to pack me in your case to Greece!!! - May have to explain that one to your wife!!
All joking aside - I'm just glad we are getting some real SMF's to the show - although I believe from one of Dee's tweets today the band are only playing 3 songs (mind you if that is the 11 minute version of It's Only Rock n Roll, the 15 min version of INGUN and 10 min version of WNGTI or IWR - I'll take it!!!!!). |

Before selecting the winners, we need to confirm that you would definitely be able to attend if you receive tickets. The Awards take place on Monday 13th June, at the Indigo2 in the O2 complex, North Greenwich, London. Doors open at 6pm. Also remember that Twisted Sister is only playing a short, 25 minute set – but it will be a night to remember!
To be considered for tickets, please RVSP to this email address by midday GMT on Friday 27th June. Please think carefully about whether you’ll be able to attend; there are lots of fans that are also hoping to receive tickets.

Not sure it was purely on you distance from London as Richard got a ticket in Newcastle (unless he gave his brother's address in London!!). Anyway - looks like the slamboard will have a good representation at the gig - I'm starting to think I need to finish work a lot ealier then I initially planned in order to allow time to meet up before hand. You going to Donny Paul - see you there or at London.

Yeah, Christmas in my house today also, same two bits of post (however I can't get to watch DVD until tomorrow).
Did you read the letter that came with the tickets - the bit encouraging everybody to wear fancy dress - Zombie theme. Now here's a thought - we have Twisted, we have Alice and we have 2,000 Zombies - Be Crool To Your Scuel anybody!!! |

Yeah! It would have been awesome... especially seeing that Alice Cooper is there as well!
My second show this year would have been Moscow, but seeing that I have to jump through hoops to get a Visa for that fucking country, I guess I won't be going, I'm on the road much of june and july, so I can't give up my passport for 2 weeks to get that damn visa, so it looks like I will only be seeing one TS show this year... which kinda sucks big time! Had I known that earlier I might have reconsidered about only seeing one Greece show. Anyway, have fun at the awards show! |
