| Just thinking.... I know dee is pretty much done with doing the TS shows, and wants to do other stuff etc...
Do you think the other guys would get another singer and continue to play?
No disrespect to Dee of course, but I think the others would probably like to continue on. maybe do a tour etc..
What do you think??

so this is what i think... i think Dee's career went UP AGAIN, when they reunited... the publicity and everything... his career came back on track.....
i think it would be foolish to replace Dee and that's not happening 
SO, i would tell Dee to continue doing this, and to the other members aswell.... KEEP ON PLAYING.... that's the most important thing in your careers.... I personally want NEW MUSIC from TS

Any good singer can sing those songs... Plus lots of other bands have gone on with new singers!
I think some members of TS would do it for ever!

Location: SCOTLAND | Fair enough, many bands have continued with a new frontman to great success, but I don't think the SMFs would accept TS with any other singer than Dee!!
I think the only way that this would work is if the band and a new frontman, played under a different name, sort of like a tirbute to the music, a la Dio's Disciples.
That way the fans could still enjoy the songs live, without anyone pissing all over the Twisted legacy!!
Sorry, but in my opinion, you could'nt call the band Twisted Sister with out Dee! |

Location: Baltimore, MD | Just as Twisted has said that they would not tour without the 5 original members, I really cannot imagine they would ever play as Twisted without Dee.
I would NOT count him out however....
I'm hoping we'll see a few more shows in 2012.... the more publicity he gets for the reality shows, the more we may see a renewed public interest and resurgence in Twisted Sister! Remember what that Christmas album did for Twisted....let's view it as a positive. |

| Can anyone imagine Angus Young leaving AC/DC and the band continue with another guitarist ? See............................question answered.
If Dee really decides to call it quits then the rest of the band should bury the TS legend in dignity and everyone could walk out of it with their heads up. Even though this IS the worst case scenario I'd prefer this at any time rather than seeing TS with another frontman but Dee. And let's face it....................who could replace him ?
If this really happened then, at least, I would love to keep those unforgettable memories of the band that influenced my life like no other ever did and I do not need a TS Project feat. Joe Lynn Turner.

| While the band are insanely talented, this will never happen. The band has stated many times that full time touring is not something they are interested in any way. Trying to do it with out Dee would not only be stupid, it would never generate enough fans to make touring worth while. It may be like comparing apples to oranges but I've read/seen somewhere that TS can make more $ playing 10-15 special shows a year than a band like Faster Pussycat can touring 6-8 months a year playing to 100 people in Witchita KS, with the occasional festival gig.
Let's just be grateful for what we have and not sweat the small stuff.
Now to figure out plans for poughkeepsie. Being poor sucks. |

Dee said HE doesn't want to tour anymore..
I'll bet some of the other guys would Looove to tour again!.
Dee has a lot of other stuff to do.
The other guys seem to be mostly music..

| I specifically remember JJ saying something about the not touring regularly bit. Every member has legitimate jobs. What they do now, is great added income, but if they quit their day jobs and depend on TS they'd probably be poor soon. I'd love if they did more, I wish I could see them more. But am grateful for every opportunity I get. |

Hopefully this is just a mis-quote. As he has said this before and it is getting kinda old and lame. If you want to quit, say so and do so. Don't keep the other fellas' and the fans hangin'. I know your wife has big bazookas that require alot of time and attention and I'm all for that. But if this swallows too much of your time to keep TS going, please tell it straight.
Also TS could tour without Dee with JJ on vocals. The set would be:
1. Jazz Odessey (Spinal Tap cover) 22min
2. TV Wife 5min inc. pyro
---Encore----
3. 30, 4min

It should be said--even though Dee's wife is now a TV celebrity, it's really in bad form and ignorant to discuss the family members of band members in that fashion.
They have often said, quite vocally, it's all 5 or it ain't Twisted Sister. Now kindly shut it and go buy a ticket to the Hudson Civic Center.

well then we are in full agreement--they are best live band ever! Of course I don't want them to quit either--but I know that all good things must come to an end eventually, and I look at each and every show as a special gift to the fans.
As for Suzette: Dee's wife is a very lovely and attractive lady-- some of the band members do read the slamboard on occasion-- so this isn't simply a random fan-site. For that reason, I think that the fans do a good job here of being respectful towards the band members and their families. |

Location: Rocking In The Florida Dark ! | To me Dee has allways been a major part of the band, what a great personality! Writer singer The list just goes on and on.Such a long list of talent , trully a amazing talent ! Also Im sure most know that Suzette also has played a really important part in TS - If im not mistaken in doing makeup for the shows , costume design and even the original TS logo - I think. To me everyone is great in this band! I love em all as im sure all here do.
I think one thing we all share in common here on the board is our deep love of this trully great band and its fan base is just the best. To me everyone here I can say are really good people-- TS Fans , crew, anyone involved with TS allways seems to just be great people that in a pinch would befriend and help anyone. TS and its Friends are trully a unique bunch of great peeps! I feel really honored to have had just so many great times years ago with such a tallented unique bunch of peeps ! I hope it lasts as long as possible-- I really love it , I guess im one of the ones that when a new song happens I definetely hang to hear it , but my appriciation for this band is alot. -- Keep on keepin on !

| I seriously doubt he would quit the band permanently.Sounds to me like the not touring so much idea was mutual by ALL members, since they all have other things going on in their lives.Besides that, they have proven again & again since re-forming they DONT have to do constant shows,they know they still have an entire army of SMF's that will love their music & the band no matter what happens from here on out.
