(wait..that looks like Papa Smurf....never mind. it's an american tv thing) I don't rent or drive cars overseas....so I will be looking at trains and other forms of transportation. Thank you for the info on tickets--I am confident I won't have too much trouble with that. I'll have to see how the planes to Copenhagen compare to Stockholm.

SMF 1st Class Posts: 21 Location: Sweden | To Armadillo and other S.M.F.'s that fly to Stockholm. Below is some different options if you fly to Stockholm and wants to go to Sweden Rock Festival. From Arlanda Airport in Stockholm there are regularly buses from the airport to Stockholm City. Takes around 45-60 min and cost 99 SEK, (swedish crowns) for a one way ticket. Faster and more expensive trains are also available. http://www.sj.se Site is available in english also. Train from Stockholm city to Karlshamn or Sölvesborg. From both Karlshamn and Sölvesborg you can take special festival-buses that goes every hour or so. http://www.swebus.se Site is available in english also. SMF 1st Class Posts: 18 | I think the easyest/fastest way is to land in Copenhagen, and then take a train to Solvesborg. I was planning to go to Sweden Rock and Copenhagen was the best choice.

Extreme SMF Posts: 146 Location: Fareham Hampshire UK | Hi Terry This time last year we were exchanging many emails arranging our trip to NY & Boston - this year I was hoping I may have been able to return the favour and be your host here - but alas no UK dates yet. I have just booked my Graspop ticket - I know you initially seemed keen on that one but I see Sweden has won you over (Anything to do with all those beautiful Swedish ladies they have - or is it your secret love for ABBA that tempts you!!!). I'm guessing you'll only make one Euro trip this year (no wonder the USA ecomony is in such a poor state - you've borrowed it all so you can bring us the Road Reports!!- but we are so very grateful!!!!) but if you lottery numbers come up I'll be quite happy to drive you from UK to Belguim (that's the way I'm doing it this year). Until then take care - and it's only 79-80 days to go until we are reading the next Road Report (June 8th) Best Wishes Dave
