As always Terry thanks for the updates - been waiting to read this one for a while now. Sounds like you suffer to bring us the news we want to read. I'm glad they finally let you into the country - didn't you tell Immigration you had hundreds of SMF's relying on you to bring us all the news. Still - now it's over it's another tale to tell (but I'm sure that wasn't your thinking at the time).

Two years ago this weekend I had the privilege of travelling with you for the New York - Boston Pinkburst Project - today reading the Brazil report I thought I was doing it again (although our trip had nowhere near as much drama) - I also have to say the shocking scenes from Boston we witnessed two weeks ago on the News Channels was a far cry from that idyllic Sunday morning we experienced just ahead of JJ auction two years ago. I'm not one to take issue with what you write but if you check back at your Road Report of 29th April 2011 Twisted played We're Gonna Make It in NYC (but I'm fully aware you've seen many Twisted shows since then and WGMI is a rare track to be played).

This has certainly got me (even more) excited about seeing Twisted in Europe this summer. I will be making both Hellfest (France) and Graspop again so hopefully we get a chance to catch up then (assuming they let you into Europe - and your back stage chores don't keep you too busy!!). Before then we will wait for your Road Reports from what promises to be two great USA shows.

One final question - Have you tried Eddie's Hot Sauce yet - if so what is it like (you can be honest as he doesn't visit here often!!). Again thanks for all your efforts in writing your reports - it does help to keep in touch with the best live band ever.

Hi Dave
I actually just posted on my facebook page...it was almost two years ago this week that we had that amazing Pinkburst benefit. I watched the news break on the bombing while I stood in the Brazil airport, watching helplessly. I recognized immediately that the location of the bombing was right in front of the hotel where you and I stayed. That cafe in the those horrible photos...with the windows blown out...you and I grabbed a bite there.

And of course, the Skinner Antiques headquarters across the street from our hotel, has been stuck behind police tape for a week.
Skinner has graciously donated $1K for each mile of the marathon--so almost 27K being donated to the victims of the attack.

Boston was a 2nd home while I was in school in Providence, and it was so painful to see the suffering. I continue to pray for them all.

I haven't had the hot sauce yet, but I certainly intend to give it a taste! I'll be sure to stop by the patch in Graspop and give you my best!

Great stuff as always Terry! And yes they did play "We're Gonna Make It" in NY April 2011. It was a treat then and I'm sure it was this time around. I consider it a treat anytime the boys play anything from "You Can't Stop Rock and Roll" so take it all in and enjoy it while you can!

Keep those Road Reports coming because the schedule has not been kind to me this year so I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make any shows. I can only imagine the shows from your colorful memoirs. My only hope at this point is the show in Texas. Cross your fingers!
