New album Twisted Sister? |

Full-On SMF Posts: 83 Location: Belgium | Last week a local magazine did a special about Graspop. One of the articles was an interview with Dee. I have translated one answer from this interview... ********************************* Q: Are there plans for a new album? DEE: Untill a while ago the answer was: absolutely not! The people don't care about new albums from bands who are round for 30 to 40 years. Look at the sales or airplay those new albums get. I call such releases toiletmusic. Watch carefully during a concert. When a singer announces they will play a song from the new album, everybody goes peeing. We have a drum solo for that (laughing). I just wrote a theatre musical 'A very Twisted Christmas' and it's about a band who plays some of our older and Christmas songs but also a handfull of new songs. There is a small chance we will record those new songs with Twisted Sister but the band doesn't know it yet. Now I just hope they don't read this interview! Oh well, they want a new album for years, so they wont be angry. ********************************* Sorry Dee, I had to share this

Watch J.J. saying exactly the same as Dee in the magazine interview. I think that they may have matched their statements (Sorry for the very annoying presentors...) http://www.rtbf.be/video/detail_jay-jay-de-twisted-sister-en-interview-avec-classic-21-au-graspop-metal-meeting-2013?id=1835790 I don't know if this is realistic because of what happened in the past but I love to hear a Twisted Sister cover of the Widowmaker song, the iron road! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJH4Yxj0uDQ

Personally I'd like to see them record 'What's Love Without You'. The demo of this song is on disc two of the 25th anniversary edition of Stay Hungry!
