Full-On SMF Posts: 96 | Sort of a silly question. They will always come back, if only to play festivals or benefits. All the guys have their own side projects, but I think they are all still happy to come together to kick out the old jams.

Extreme SMF Posts: 132 | This one goes out to JJ: I have thought about your posting all day and if this is Dee's decision - fair enough and it has my total respect - we all knew the day would come. Who would've thought in 1988 or 1989 that we would ever get to see TS in their original line-up again ? Exactly: no one ! BUT, and that is a BIG BUT......if you go out you should go out with a bang and then leave once and for all and you will have everyone's respect and admiration (of course you will also have that if you don't follow my ideas/dreams/wishes ;-). TS just cannot call it quits, calmly, after another festival season in Europe and a show at the Best Buy, this simply doesen't do you justice and it would be sad to call it quits like this in my opinion. So, an appropriate way to say good-bye would be one final show in London, one in Scandinavia (Stockholm maybe, you were always big in Scandinavia !!) and, of course, in NYC (MSG ??).......and then we'll let you go and you have all my best wishes for your retirement or whatever plans you might have. Come on, it's another handful of shows and I'm sure even Dee can squeeze that into his busy schedule !!!! Just don't leave us like this ! SMF, Germany

Extreme SMF Posts: 190 Location: Austria | Yeah. Should that time around the corner that is coming be connected to the end of Twisted Sister, I too think that, if no last season is possible, at least one announced "last" Twisted Sister show, wherever that may be, would be a great thing for everyone involved. I think everyone deserves that. After my 3 shows this year, after the Faroes, I was entertaining the thought of doing that New York show too... with the bike run and the movie preview, it would really have been a great occasion to go. Especially if that show would turn out to be the last Twisted Sister show. I would really hate to have missed out on the last Twisted Sister show. So really, if Twisted Sister is no more, please announce one last show.

Extreme SMF Posts: 147 | I know TS have not done proper tours in the comeback era, but I would welcome a farewell tour of 10-20 shows. They gotta come and say good bye to Europe, they just got to and they of course need to say farewell to their homeland and especially the great NYC! Dang!

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | Before the rumor mill goes haywire. NO ONE has stated that Dee is hanging up the pink spandex this year. Dee is doing some solo shows right now --I went to the show in Hinckley and holy crap, it knocked my socks off-- he just played a special invite only benefit for the St. Jude Children's Hospital for Donald Trump and he's gearing up for the Christmas on Broadway. I am remaining optimistic that we will see another tour in 2015. After that…. who knows?

SMF 1st Class Posts: 26 | Well 2 of my favourite bands are now right at the end of their careers.Hopefully I will get to see Motorhead on their 40th anniversary tour next year(seeing them another 2 times in November) and also TS somewhere in England -from what Jay Jay says there definitely wont be another tour,BUT ,as another poster above mentioned, 1 more gig in London would be fucking awesome. And if that's it,so be it,but what a year that would be for me

I personally agree, I never thought I would say that and as fans we go back many of us to the seventies, I love this band , probably my fav band of all time. But to me to have a great legacy you don't want to go out in some old decrepit style where people who didn't have the luxury of knowing Twisted in the seventies and eighties who are seeing this now think whom are these guys. I think its absolutely correct bands like the stones are a joke now compared to before and its a shame. Sometimes its better to go out with some class while you still are good, bands very often slip off their game and don't even realize it or how good by comparison they were before. I think we all would like to see Twisted preform again, I know I would because I grew up with this band and I love it , Them so. Spent many nights traveling far in the bar days by car to see them. I miss it and being able to see them but I have memories that will always be there , Magical nights , JJ playing these amazing solos etc , I truly hope I do get to see them again some how b efore its said and done, And I hope when it is I can still see them do some solo efforts JJ , Eddie and the others are so great they im sure they will have people like me that will always enjoy their music, I know these guys would make awesome solo acts. I will always enjoy listening to them play. SMFF

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 772 | Well said. Don't forget how bad Van Halen is with Roth... Have you seen them?? Roth is a pathetic former shell of himself. VH looks and sounds like a cabaret act in Las Vegas... and Roth can't sing a note... Its horrible to watch...IMO. Nothing personal against Roth.... But He needs to go way.... I don't want to see TS lame like that...ya know??? SMFF
