The Black Sabbath songs are missing: Never Day Die
Heaven and Hell
Sweet Leaf
Neon Knights (I think)

Plus: The Jack, Whole Lotta Rosie, Sweet Transvestite, Long Live Rock n Roll, Diamonds and Rust (of course), Breakin' the Law, Vicious, Cat Scratch Fever (?)

Did they play Rock Candy (Montrose) live? I'm pretty sure there may have been some Bowie too.

thanks. it would have taken too long to go back and listen to my concerts from '79-'83 to see what they played but i did remember they played a ton back then. i wish they would do a cover or two now.

real wild child is actually an old song i know jerry lee lewis did it in the 50's.
love is for suckers isn't written by dee snider doesn't that make it a cover song? go look in the liner notes its says written by marky someone additional lyrics by dee snider, i thought he said somewhere he only added like 5 sentences to it.

thank you dave i forgot the group i knew it was. all i could remember was marky someone wrote it and dee added like 5 sentences to it so it says additional lyrics by dee snider. also whoever said it wasn't said its a twisted sister original, how can that be if none of the songs except 'wake up' were written for TS? i don't even tink TS plays on the album that much if at all. dee was making a solo album and i know producer beau hill plays on it, winger guitarist reb beach and bassist paul taylor are on it and joe franco plays drums and he wasn't in TS at the time.

"joe franco plays drums and he wasn't in TS at the time."

Actually I think Joe programmed the drum machine and only added some cymbals so most of the drums are not real instruments on that album.

as a drummer i'm listening to it now and you might be right about that, it sounds too clean and too precise. everytime you hit a drum it never makes the same sound everytime and you can fix that somewhat with studio eq's but it sounds too clean. anyways after the record company deceided they wanted a new TS album not a dee snider album they toured and did a video for a song off of it but i think they played only like 3-4 songs off of it and mostly stuff off the other albums. when they usually play 6 songs off an album thats new. i can't remember why a.j. quit though and left, i know he wasn't mad at dee or joe franco. maybe it was to rejoin the band the cities?

TS did play 6 songs off LIFS live: Wake Up, Hot Love, Love Is For Suckers, I'm So Hot For You, Tonight and One Bad Habit. As for cover songs, look here:

http://www.nic.fi/~rheikkil/unreleas.htm

I know that list isn't complete.

thats an awesome list. did they play 6 songs everynight? i've never heard any concert from the last tour but i really want to. i think TS should release the last ever concert they did in the 80's on cd if they have it recorded.

Yes, to my knowledge they did play those 6 songs from LIFS every night of the two week tour they did for LIFS. There is a pretty good quality audience recording from the last '87 show.
