Location: CT, of course! | Fellow SMFs Please join me in wishing a resounding and astonishingly happy birthday to the founding father of TS and the capo di tutti capo of all SMFs….The one and only JAY JAY FRENCH!!! Let’s face it, folks…it’s as simple as this. No Jay Jay, no Twisted Sister. Jay Jay, Thank you for your vision, persistence, and faith in yourself and your band. On your birthday I would like to recognize and thank you for the precious gift you have provided (and continue to provide!!) to SMFs around the world for the past 30 years. The effect this band has on our lives will never be forgotten. We’ve learned lessons through TS, gotten through tough times with TS, stood up for ourselves and those like us, and most of all celebrated as a result of your music and the energy of a live TS show. We’re part of something that no one can ever take away from us. Having that effect on people is not something that most people can lay claim to, but it’s all yours. What to say to the man who has given so much to his fans over the years the list is endless. The rainy day battle of wits on the old Slamboard is a rocking chair memory but nothing will or can top letting us hear INGUN just one more time at the Starland.

It was Jay-Jay who kept it alive and saw it all the way through and made it all happen ! Proof that YOU CAN'T STOP ROCK & ROLL !!!!!! Happy B'day Jay Jay !!
