I hear ya Marty...but if this is in fact true and TS is confirmed for August 28th at the Michigan State Fair, I'll be there!
I saw the info below on the site for Michigan State Fair....says TS Aug 28th at 7pm

Location: Detroit | I got my information directly from Danny as well as the person in charge of booking for the State Fair (my band, Left For Dead, opened a couple of shows for TS in '03 and we were looking into being local support for this show as well but someone else beat us to the punch). I don't know why the date isn't listed here nor do I know when it will be added. I have known Danny for some 12 years now and hw wouldn't just throw that at me if they hadn't've been booked. I believe it is a WRIF show.

Location: Toronto, Canada | Marty - WRIF is a rock radio station in Detroit. I am gonna try to make it for this one. Detroit is only a 3-4 hr drive from Toronto. Just sucks that its during the week. I am gonna have to try to arrange time off from work, but I hope to make this one. It's actually closer for me than if I had been able to go to Quebec City, and that was only an opening slot too.
Twisted in Detroit should kick ass...not that any show they do doesn't!

| I'm planning on Driving out to this show and will be in Pittsburgh the following couple of days because of work. Two things I was wondering, , has any of you SMFs been at a show at this fair?Whats it like and can you get up towards the stage or is it all seating?
And is Twisted going to play a full set because I see it is a free as long as you get into the fair grounds. Nine hour drive from Philly, just want to make sure it is a full, blown out TS show.

How the hell are ya. Never been to this particular Fair but I did go to the one in Wisconsin. Assuming they're similar, I mean a fair is a fair lol, It was a full set and the GA. With the price of gas it may not hurt to check airfares. Pretty cheap from my neck of the woods. See ya at the show. |

| Thanks for the infor MP. I'm drvingb to Pittsburgh for a few days to see customers, then to Harrisburgh. Pittsburgh to Detriot is about a four hour ride. I get a company car and they pay all my expenese(Lucky about that).
p.S. Eddie of Buzzard was qouted that some Bent Brother shows were happening at some small venues around the holidays. I bet one of them is Starland?Chance?Downtown club on the Island . Take care!!!
