| I'm finally dry after last nights soggy TS show at the Michigan State Fair. I gotta admit, my brother and I were a bit worried that the show was gonna get called due to the f***ing rain, but Dee and the rest of his SMF band came out and rocked the joint! We went to last year's VanHelsing's Curse show and met Dee afterwards. He is by far, one of the best front men in rock today! He loves the fans as much as he loves to rock!  |

| Writing this email from Pittsburgh and wanting to share my experience at the show last night.
Drove from Philly to Detroit in alittle over nine hours yesterday, checked into the Horel, off to the Fair grounds. I was having a few beerswith some SMfs and looking at the terrible weather, and sayingt to myself, this was one waste of a trip. TS came on and made me realize why it was worth it. Great show, fans in Detroit were awesome, again, terrrbile conditions, but everybody had a great time.
I did get back to the hotel from a couple of SMFs from detriot who saved my ass( No cabs anywhwre to be found). Thanks for the ride backm. TS, as always, NEVER DISAPPOINT!!!

Yeah, I had to limit my activities today to what I could do without shoes. It'll probably be a few days before I get those back.
And my dryer is also out of commission so I was pretty much screwed today. haha.
But the show was worth it a thousand times over. I'm going to be an optimist and say the rain just made it more special. |

Glad you made it back to your hotel. I remember being in Philly for my first TS show (last year at electric factory), and being shocked at how many cabs there were after the show.. I'd never seen one before! hah. You gotta remember we're the motor city-- our economy is very much based on the auto industry. If we didn't have shitty public transportation, not enough of us would buy cars. |
