Location: ? | It's Guns'n'Roses because if it was an Axl solo effort the marketing support would be less, the sales will be less, and the venues he plays will be smaller. Look at almost any rock musician and see what level they play at without the band...Snider, Dickinson, Slash, makes no odds on the talent.
As for it taking 14 years to make, that's no suprise. It takes Axl about that long to get his arse on stage even. Ask most people about a G'n'R show and they'll tell you how the support band were great and they played for 3 hours solid. Axls' only ever ready to hit the stage after the last bus home has been and gone.
G'n'R are one of those bands who should have quit after Appetite - that album would have been the new "Never Mind The Bollocks". |
