You are not alone. You're spot on. This is what happened when they banned weed. "Give peace a chance........." Pass the spliff...LOL...

It was a kinder, gentler time back then. I hear ya...I've nearly come to blows with drunkin' SOB's, ask MP1975 my body guard.......... hehehehehe

AND by the way, I will be 39 forever.

Like everyone here, I love live music and good HM gigs in particular. Over the past year I have been lucky to see a lot of really good top name bands but something has been starting to bother me and it came home to roost last night at a Duff McKagan gig.

The big question is - Am I getting old or is the quotient of tossers at gigs getting larger? I love to rock out, I jump around, I headbang, I play air guitar, I even mosh a little but I get really annoyed when someone tries to push in front of me or spills their drink on me. Is this just the onset of old age (I am 40) and I should chill-out or are there more arseholes around these days. I remember a much cooler, friendlier vibe at gigs years ago - am I just being sentimental here?

What do you think? I realise different countries will have different experiences but I would still love to know.

Now where did I leave my pipe and slippers?
