so let's get serous--what exactly are you trying to accomplish? You've made your point....oh, let's see...what are we up to....six....seven posts?
And just to prove that I'm actually reading your points (thanks for turning off the cap key, by the way...a few paragraph breaks wouldn't hurt either, you know.) I'll recap for you the whole affair.

You want the band to come play small clubs again, the way they did when you first saw them, preferably in upstate NY. [Yes, we all want that too.]

You want the band to know that bands much bigger, who are selling out venues in the US three times the size of the ones TS plays, are playing small clubs just for the hell of it and for their fans. [And I think that's just lovely. Perhaps if more US fans actually ponied up and showed up to the TS shows more often and sold out the clubs, we'd get smaller shows AND big shows.]


You've implied that the band doesn't care about their fans and only cares about money. [that's a load of crap. sorry. it is. they care. I know that for a fact.]

And you don't care what any of us think of you, particularly me. [ I can live with that, too.]

Now...is that everything? You haven't gotten a response from the band, you've annoyed a number of the slamboard folks and Jim made a new friend. Did you accomplish what you set out to do? I don't see any small clubs on the bill this summer. Was there something else on your agenda?

If you took the time to read the various posts on this board, you'd notice that generally, everyone is usually, on a good day, quite civil to one another. Many of the slamboard SMFs have done a lot of very kind things for other slamboarders here-- we often swap memorabilia, share photos, even open our homes to one another on occasion. There really is a strong brother/sisterhood of SMFs around the world.

Go back and re-read your own posts--they were not kind to the band, and not kind to the fans. You are always welcome to share your opinions, but we do so in a manner is respectful. You were disrespectful from the start. You came onto the board with a serious chip on your shoulder and basically pissed in everybody's Cheerios, and then acted surprised when you didn't get a warm reception.

Here's your chance to get a do-over--show some sign that you are actually a decent guy. How about sharing your first TS concert on the concert thread? Or adding a bit of silliness to the Pizza thread? How about posting something...anything....that isn't laced with hostility and nastiness against TS and the SMFs that doesn't shit on the slamboard in a new thread.

You might be surprised....you might like it here..... you might even make a few friends who might even buy you a cup of coffee and a slice of cheesecake sometime....stranger things have happened.

Show us that you really are an SMF with a personality and a heart But the ball is in your court.
