| OMG - this is sheer unbelievable !!!!! Having only ever had the chance to listen to that show before it's so great to actually SEE that performance now. What a historical document. The band is absolutely ON FIRE. I have never seen a band so determined to win over a crowd that' not theirs and to see how they actually succeeded in the end is second to none. Twisted Sister definitely was (and still is) the only band on this planet who could've done that, so from me.................hats off 29 years later ;-).
There's just one thing I'm wondering: did Dee's introduction/rant before "Shoot 'em down" get cut out ? I would have to dig out my tape of that show to be sure but maybe someone here on the board knows. I'm quite sure that it was Reading, where Dee dedicated this song "....to the British soldiers who fought in the Falklands and........*censored*....." If they actually did cut this out I would understand because they are quite big in the South American countries these days but maybe I'm also wrong and it was another show. Does anyone know for sure ????
OK, time to go and put the DVD in again :-)
Take care
