Finally seen the DVD - thanks everyone for letting us have this.
Obviously Wrexham 82 was the band's debut performance - but this performance (recorded by the BBC and put out on Tommy Vance's The Friday Rock Show) really put the band on the map.
Love the backline roadies - they were Secret Records employees or Expolited backline guys - they are wearing TS shirts but have English punk mohawk hairstyles :-) :-)
Love the interviews - the rider - the English sandwiches, the kebabs and the "hamburgers". Also the Battle, barn recording memoirs.
The cd is still is in the car - and will be blasting all the way up to Download next weekend :-)
I noticed the punk guys in TS t-shirts, too! Great! The interviews were awesome and the stories were great but I lost it when Eddie started talking about the "Butt Biscuits", I lost it!!! Friggin' hilarious!!! I've actually been to Battle many times. My wife's family lives in Hastings just south of there. I might have to see if I can find that barn on my next trip to England. LOL!!!! |
