^^Huh? How are Europe not on top of their game? Sure, they play smaller venues than in the 80s, but they are still going strong, playing shows around the world and unlike the other classic bands mentioned they are not a revival act playing a variation of their greatest hits plus the one or two odd new songs. About 50% on every show consists of songs they have written since their reunion in '04. And people do enjoy those songs. So it's not like people are not interested in new songs. People are only not interested when the new songs don't measure up to the old ones or if the audience mainly consists of people, who only know the singles and don't care about the band otherwise.
