Hey,

Just writing to second the opinion that Van Helsing's Curse is the coolest thing happening anywhere in music today.

What a jaw-droppingly powerful, unique, DARK show! It's pure genius.

This was my second time seeing them (first was last January at the NAMM show). I had a similar breakneck schedule like Joe Rock: Drove away from LA at 1pm Friday, got to Vegas around 7pm, got to the show a little early and chatted with Cooch (which I guess is part of the experience, just based on Joe and my nights), stared in slack-jawed amazement during the 90 minute show, hung around for an hour or so afterwards talking to folks, slept from midnight until 4am when I had to get up and get back on the road to get to a seminar Saturday morning...back in LA!

WELL worth all the effort! Wherever they play next year (and hopefully that's multiple locations), I'll be there.

My only regret was not being able to stay for the Saturday night show where Dee and Suzette did a 25-year wedding vow reaffirmation ceremony, lead by Penn Gilette of Penn & Teller. Did any of you see that? I'd love to hear how it went!!!
