| Hey everyone, first time poster, but I will give you my best recolection of how the show went down and set:
First off, the band sounded INSANE. Dee's voice sounded just like it did in 84, I was SO impressed. Hitting ALL the high notes. AJ's drum solo rocked, Mark's bass solo was killer. And they looked like they were having SO much fun on stage. I got to meet all of them after and they were all so gratious. We stood out in the freezing cold for a hour but they all came out. Jay Jay gave us all guitar picks for the tour, and was really curious on how they sounded. But I will tell you all it sounded great. So here is the run down, the first couple of songs I remember in order, but they played a LOT of the X-mas album, I'll do my best to remember:
Set list:
AMAZINGLY they did not open with What You Don't Know (they didnt even play it, which I was bummed about)
Opened with:
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (Dee cam out in a Santa outfit and was throwing candy canes into the audience)
Stay Hungry
Rest are some what in order, but not sure:
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
Destroyer
Silver Bells
You Can't Stop Rock & Roll
The Price
Shoot Em Down
Oh Come All Ye Faithful
Deck The Halls
Burn In Hell
Under The Blade
White Christmas
I Wanna Rock
Encore:
Heavy Metal Christmas (Which was HILLARIOUS, they all sang)
We're Not Gonna Take It
SMF
Dee forgot some words to the Xmas songs and admitted it, but it still was great. Interesting to see people's reaction to them singing Xmas songs, but people were signing along! Anyway, hope this helps. GREAT show and it was $40 well spent.
