SMF 1st Class Posts: 13 Location: New York City | So I did it. Flew to Chicago from NYC to see Twister Mother Fucking Sister. Left a nice 45 degree sunny day for a single digit freezing hell. I'd called ahead so I knew when they would go on and got there at 10:10pm. The room was full but not packed and I managed to make my way all the way up to the front on the left side right in front of Mark. Stood right near 3 HUGE guys who were there with a few other friends drinking Bud Light after Bud light after Bud Light. Members of this board perhaps? And I thought I drank a lot! The came out at 10:20 shooting and didn't stop for about an hour and 40 minutes. Man, they were GREAT. Just as great as every time I've ever seen them and definitely as good as the first time I was amazed by their 1st show @ Detroit in Port Chester NY 28 or 29 years ago. Dee looked great. Mark looked like he was having the time of his life. AJ's solo was a lot of fun. Tony and JJ were both in great form. At one point Dee gave props to JJ for being THE original member and for being the glue that kept them together. At another JJ talked about whether his hair was real and how his daughter told him he couldn't go out on tour with short hair. It did NOT look like his real hair. That's all I'll say cuz I don't want to be mean. OOPS. Just was. Anyway. I'm really glad I made the trip. It was definitely worth it. Am gonna work on trying to find a friend with a car for the NJ show... Here's what they played: Have yourself a Merry Little Xmas Shoot em down Stay Hungry I saw Mommy kissing Sant Claus The fire still burns Can't stop rock and roll White Chrismas (Ok you can make fun of me all you want, but I don't know the name of this song. The lyrics in the chorus mentioned "Carry On" and "Till Dawn") Anyone? Oh Come all ye faithful Under the Blade Burn in Hell Silver Bells I want to rock 12 Days of Xmas We're not gonna take it and SMF. Was only slightly disappointed not to hear "I'll Never grow up" or "Bad Boys of Rock and Roll", but I wasn't REALLY expecting them. They really SHOULD play them though. Ok. I'm either going back to bed or going to have a beer. Yes, I know it's 8:52am, but I'm on vacation. cheers!, azo

SMF 1st Class Posts: 13 Location: New York City | Actually, I got a smile slapped across my face today as a result of last night's show that no freezing temperature can dampen. You guy's back home are truly in for a Christmas treat when TS gets to the NY/NJ leg of the tour.
