Have you all been keeping up on what is going on? Do any of you listen to Internet radio stations? I bet a lot more of them are playing Twisted Sister songs than regular radio! And if you havent heard Internet radio is about to be killed. If you havent heard, you can learn more here http://www.savenetradio.org/

If Internet Radio dies than you will hear even less of your favorite artists than ever before!! I am all for the artists getting what they deserve. Its only fair they recieve royalties. And we all know that the major labels rarely if ever give the unknowns a chance. So you will NEVER hear or find those great NEW artists. What the RIAA the CRB and the Major record labels together are asking for, will put internet radio stations out of business. This means from the small independants to the major ones like Yahoo, AOL and even NPR, Live365, Pandora and others.

If you care than please do all you can. Dont let them kill the music we all love. Thanks.

Well that is why I have a collection of like 500 CD's. I listen to what I like and I make mix CD's from them to include the bands I like most. The radio hasn't played anything I like with consistency for over 10 YEARS! I guess I will check out that link.

Musicians Speak Out In Favor Of New Royalty Rates

From the link: 'Jay Jay French of Twisted Sister added, "With the shrinking royalties from the usual sources, the ever expanding digital universe is apparently becoming the future and, before our very eyes, it is here now. I wholeheartedly support all organizations that endeavor to collect and account to all the hardworking artists whose material is exploited. I applaud these new royalty increases as they scratch the surface of the new world order.'

I read what JJ said the other day. I hope that he has been reading ALL that is being said. Not just the things the people who are for this are saying. This is going to hurt more people than do them good. And Ive been reading A LOT about how IF this goes thru it may be remembered as "The Day The Music Died"

I only hope everyone really knows how bad this will be.
