I don't know the age of the smfs in the forum but I have a question for you: do you think TS music has and will have appeal to the new generations? from my experience it has had appeal to many people of my generationI am 23 and I think I am quite young to be an smf.Do you think that younger people will discover their music?

I'm 16, I was 13 when I discovered they're music. Alot of my friends like they're music as well. I don't know about people younger than me, but there are 15-16 year olds out there who like Twisted Sister.

that's good because this means that there will be smfs in the future. the appeal of a band to new generations is important.TS are an important part of the history of 80s metal(the decade of the peak of metal's popularity, whether some like it or not) and it's good that the fire still burns. And TS deseve it because it is a legendary band(at least it is considered by many here in greece)

You can tell that they're still quite influential in Europe, because that's where the band is best appreciated nowadays. And the UK stands above the rest of Europe in their love and respect for the band.

And to anyone who knows anything here in the NY area (and that would be anyone who used to see them back in the day), they are legends. As Hunter Thompson used to say, 'They stomp the Terra.'

Yes, of course!!! the young people will discover their music...like me discovered Led Zeppelin or Jimi Hendrix, and I´m 26.
The good music will never die

Hehh.........about our dearest Twisted Sister....i don't know how is the situation with the new generations there in US but in Europe they still kick ass....i know thah here in Macedonia they are now more popular then ever, their videos are shown on some of the TV channels all the time
It wasn't like that, but now it is....and i'm into their music like about 7-8 years,i'm 24 now..............and i know some smaller kids who come up to me seeing me in TS-Under the blade shirt and asking me about the band, how can they find albums and things like that :D

So....there's a lot of kids here who are now starting to listen to Twisted Sister.....
And there are some older peple who listened to them in the eighties :D

And SMF's,you won't beleave this: I found a metalhead from the days, from seventies and eighties, cause i hanged out with his daughter, and HE has the first TS Single Vynil - UNDER THE BLADE; I'LL NEVER GROW UP )))) I still can't beleave what a copy of that is looking for in Macedonia LOL and i'm still trying to get it from him for my colection, maybe he'll give it to me one day )))

Also,a yonger friend of mine watched the Warning:Parental Advisory movie on a Macedonian TV channel, the movie about the Senat e hearings in '85,and after that,he calls me and says: Uros, now i understand the power of SMF )))

Stay Sick everyone......Twisted Sister are legends over here too....oh yeah, and a lot of bikers here listen to Twisted Sister :D

Hiya,
Well i'm 21 and have introduced TS to my housemates who are 21, 19 and 18 and they love them, they insist on me putting it on full blast everytime we go out in the car and the whole of my student house is buzzin about the upcoming tour. Music such as this gives every listener such an enormous sense of well being, it really is the best thing to get you through the stresses of uni work and living with no money - nothing can stop you having a good time and jumping around the house like a madwoman to good old rock!
