I will be seeing the band in Vegas for only my third time, my loss, but my question is, have they played "It's Only Rock N Roll" in recent years. They have enough great music of their own to play for hours, but they really covered that great and would like to hear it live. Danny, any history of them and this song? Thanks

They have indeed played It's Only Rock N Roll a few times that I can remember recently. The last time i know of was at the Starland Ballroom in NJ as Bent Brother.

from Donnington in '83.

And I saw it on Limes' video from Wolverhampton (the show that Brian Johnson sang with them) two years ago.

Oh man have they played that song. They OWN that song. Thats the way the song should be played and I hear Mick cringes everytime he hears it cause the Stones version falls so short. lol Can you tell I enjoy the Boyz Version. It does pop it's head up every now and again at a TS gig. I think BB play it more often.

Good luck, with the Boyz miracles do happen ;-)

MP,
Miracles you say? I couldn't agree more bro! Seeing the Starland show with INGUN being played for the first time live to my ears was a miracle in itself. And yes, we all know it was a miracle for you too....LOL

Be good bro!
