SMF 1st Class Posts: 16 | I understand it the time was bad for the band and lots of fighting was going on, but I'm sure they have to realize a large majority of the fans love this record and so I ask why not play some songs from this record before you finally stop playing. I've read JJ's interview with Cyndi where he says it's getting harder to get Dee to agree to gigs so do the fans who love this record a solid and crank up a few tunes from the cd. The whole AJ didn't play on it really doesn't make sense to me espiecially since AJ played Wake Up The Sleeping Giant when he played in Dee's SMF band when I saw them...so I don't think he'd mind learning them. Even Peter & Ace played non makeup Kiss songs on thier Farewell Tour....just my Twisted opinion =)

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 513 Location: New Fuckin Yawk | My understanding of not playing anything from LIFS is because the original 5 were NOT together when that album came out. Now that the band is re-united, the original 5 are playing stuff from their albums. Truthfully, I'd love to hear some songs live from the LIFS as some of them are great. The 2 most requested songs on my list from LIFS are Wake Up The Sleeping Giant and One Bad Habit. Peace All

He's said that many times before. ok fair enough but again I say Ace & Peter played material they weren't on either..... bands play material all the time that all band members didn't play on bottom line is who cares who played on the studio record it's under the Twisted Sister banner and that is what matters Plus if the fans want to hear this material my question is who would it kill to play a few tunes.....if they tank then drop them from the set....at least you tried it

I'd have to pretty much agree. The album needs to be sisterized. Kinda sterile compared to the other albums.

Full-On SMF Posts: 73 | I love LIFS and actually believe it is one of the best TS albums and moreover, that ended up being the best of the re-issues, as it had 4 awesome basically brand new songs that were not available anywhere else. In my opinion COAP is by far the weakest one, although I love some of the tracks, overall I listen to that one the least. I personally think LIFS, fits much more into the Twisted collection than COAP, which was a much further departure, imo. COAP almost seems like a forced album, where TS was trying to copy their own sound, while with LIFS Dee was basically not trying to fit his songs into any mold and therefore it is a natural evolution of the music. Regardless of who played what on the album, its a TS album and definitely some songs should be included in this summers set list, if at all possible. If I had a choice I'd love to hear Me and the Boys. That's an awesome tune! Mark
