I'd have to pretty much agree. The album needs to be sisterized. Kinda sterile compared to the other albums. One more agreement here, it's the weakest Twisted Sister album, or "Twisted Sister album" ever and certainly my least favourite. Few decent songs though; Wake Up The Sleeping Giant, Hot Love and the title song. And now, COAP IS A GREAT ALBUM! By the way Reb Beach (currently in Whitesnake) wrote the songs with Dee and played most of the guitars on 'Love Is For Suckers' album.

Location: Graveyard BLVD. | bigdaddyb - 2006-04-19 10:18 PM I understand it the time was bad for the band and lots of fighting was going on, but I'm sure they have to realize a large majority of the fans love this record and so I ask why not play some songs from this record before you finally stop playing. I've read JJ's interview with Cyndi where he says it's getting harder to get Dee to agree to gigs so do the fans who love this record a solid and crank up a few tunes from the cd. The whole AJ didn't play on it really doesn't make sense to me espiecially since AJ played Wake Up The Sleeping Giant when he played in Dee's SMF band when I saw them...so I don't think he'd mind learning them. Even Peter & Ace played non makeup Kiss songs on thier Farewell Tour....just my Twisted opinion =) Ummmm...scuse me...lol..That interview was with DCT..the Mayor..M.O.M. AKA Donna from CT...that was the best interview I have read! Was REAL! I love that album!

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | I recall hearing that LIFS was originally supposed to be Dee's solo album that was pushed into being a TS album. I like some of the material on it, but I must agree that UTB and CSRR are much more TS to me. I even prefer some of the B side material to LIFS-- guilty as charged, but I really like "Four Barrel Heart of Love" and love "Plastic Money" Even the look of the album cover kinda came at me sideways...it just didn't say "Twisted Sister" to me. OH I still listen to it--definitely some good tracks on it, and I think they played "I believe in rpcl amd roll" at the 6-flags show, didn't they? can't remember. the setlists are starting to blur together. the only album I bought but just can't bring myself to listen to is the tribute album--I didn't really care for the some of the "artistic interpretations" of TS songs....except for Joan Jett, who can do no wrong. Serious SMF Posts: 43 Location: Vestfold, Norway | I think this album both was written and recorded as a solo album before they forced it to be a TS album. Ronni Le Tekro played some of the guitar on the demos, and Reb Beach played on the recording. My favourite album is COAP. But I realy like some songs from LIFS also. Wake Up, Me And The Boys, One Bad Habbit are great tunes. And I will love to hear some of them live in London and Notthingham. Another song I want to hear, is Like a knife in the back. My favortite TS Song, and it realy kick ass live.

Armadillo I can see that opinions vary, and that's ok. For me the Joan Jett's version is about the lamest thing on that tribute album.
