It has been posted time and time again about how can one meet the band or a band, get backstage, take a photo with the band in costume and makeup etc...

Though I wish I had the answer, and the days of selling off your girlfriend, offering sex and drugs and wearing next to nothing to get backstage always helped...lol the truth is this...

Every band is different, they all have individual routines in what it takes to prepare before a show. With this comes a schedule factor where some members arrive earlier than others to a show, do soundcheck, skip soundcheck etc...it's never the same!

Best advise and it always worked for me when I want to meet someone...arrive earlier than later, most times after a show, unless a meet and greet is pre-arranged FOR THE BAND - They leave, they are exhausted because they just gave you 110% of their performance - At least TS does every night...So it's best to sometimes try to come early, hang around a bit near stage doors etc..All who know me knows I do everything I can to have you all meet the band....

Good luck and thanks for asking. The band truly appreciates all of you, always have, always will!

Thanks for the advice
And if the show is in a Festival, meeting the band or taking a picture is impossible, isn't it?

Danny is right about this. At the Yogi Berra Stadium show in NJ last August, A.J. and Mark were wandering around on the side of the stage, and occasionally coming over to the barricade when someone spotted them and called them over for a quick picture. This was like 4 hours before Twisted went on, while Sebastian Bach was onstage.

Daniel I was lucky enough to have backstage passes(Via a well known Uk band)when you guys played at the Rock N Blues festival in England a couple of years ago. To all the TS fans here Daniel was very gracious and allowed many people to meet the band, including a suprise appearance by Brian Johnson before and after the show, we met him too.

This time when you come to Wolverhampton, I will be taking my kids who just love the band. I took one last year to manchester, He was dressed as Dee. he just loved it. Hopefully I could get them to meet their heroes now, heres hoping?

I can say you do everything you can to accomodate the TS fans and as an artist manager myself, it is a very strong personality trait that you have, as your job is hard enough doing what you do each day on tour.

Thanks Daniel. I hope to see you again in a few weeks.

Or you can use the SMFCyndi method. Sit in the Poughkeepsie subzero parking lot for hours on end until you are completely numb and punchy...then act all casual and non-chalant when Danny pulls into the lot. I swear, I felt like a stalker...Cyndi picked out that minivan a mile away! I thought she and MetalNY were crazy...until Dee and Danny emerged. Both were kind enough to come over and chat for a few minutes before heading inside the toasty club.

(of course. the camera was in the back seat of the car--I told you our brains were half-frozen)

Just a word of advice from one SMF to another--remember to give Danny and the band members some space. If they are having dinner or a busy engaged in pre-show activities, you may want to wait for a better, more opportune moment. TS spends more time with their fans than any other band out there--you may have to kill three or four hours before the show and may get to bed late, but it's worth every second.

LMAO..you are too funny "T". It is MetalNY who I dub "Hawk-eye" that sees all. lol..I think he has a 6th sense..hahahaha..that was fun. I couldn't feel my fingers that day either. Should have worn my insulated silkies...lol..

And please note.... I SWEAR I AM NOT A STALKER. Honest..I am not. Just a hardcore-ole school TS fan trying to regain my "youte"......lol...that's all. Making up for many years of missing my heros!
