Hey Guys

OK...I'm posting this here so to not distract from TS.

Just found this band four days ago via KDKB here in Phoenix. I think its a phenomenal idea, great fun and is another way to enjoy our favorite (or not so favorite) tunes.

Check out Rock Sugar on You Tube or try their website via Google. Basically, its the band Loud and Clear, with a name change. How they make it all work I do not know...but it does!! Enter Sandman with Don't Stop Believin' for lyrics. Play it and see.

Enjoy!!

I also saw this review!
http://www.rockeyez.com/reviews/cd/rock-sugar/rev-2010-mb-rock-sugar-reimaginator.html

"Not much more to say about this brilliant release except you need check it out for yourself. One last note, ROCK SUGAR is actually comprised of singer Jess Harnell, guitarist (bass & vocals also) Chuck Duran and drummer (& keyboards) Alex Track all of LA’s LOUD AND CLEAR band so if you like what you hear check into them also."

Hey Evel

Heard it played on the radio the other day and I was just mesmerized! In a million years, I would have never thought that these two could be merged as such. amazing. a bit bizarre, but I couldn't tear myself away from it. it became one of those driveway moments.

I downloaded the entire album and gave it a hard listen to. UNREAL!!!!! The singers vocal range is unstoppable. Guitars and drums, remarkable! Covers from Queen to Jovi...amazing all in one song! Bizzare, yes, that is what made me want more. I would buy this album. And when they write their own music {soon I hope}, they will soar! A great find Evel!

Jeez....what a week...

Glad you all liked it. Yep...bizarre....but it works. And its totally infectious!! I play "Sandman' to people who are not into the "rock scene"....and they love it!!

Wonder what Sister tune they can re-work? Anybody any ideas? What works the "I Wanna Rock"? "Were not gonna Take It"?

Can I say that I am liking Madonna and Paula Abdul? Or am I now setting myself up??? Oh Lordy......;-P

That front page still has me grinning!!

Have a great week people.
