Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | BIGTSFAN - 2011-02-04 9:55 PM hey Armadillo, you are staying at the pensylvania hotel? I decided against it. I had been reading some bad feedback online, and the Bedbug registry indicated many complaints. I'm trying a hotel I've never been to before, but there was not a single complaint online, and amazingly, not one complaint in the bedbug registry when I looked....so....I'm gambling on a place, sight unseen--it was actually close to the same price as the Penn, and it was just 2 blocks difference. Depending on what type of room you reserve....and if you have any discounts (AAA/CAA, military, govt etc) you can get a great price for NYC. I book a room with double beds to share with another SMF, so mine came out to be a bit more but the singles look very reasonable Go for it! Otherwise, I'm sure there are plenty of NYC folks who can give you some advice. Personally, I'd like to stay within walking distance of Times Square and Penn Station since this is just one leg of the trip.... good luck--look forward to meeting you in NYC--I'm easy to spot--please say hello!!!

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | BIGTSFAN - 2011-04-12 6:33 PM somebody know if they usually sell out their show in New York? There is still ticket... The Best Buy theater has sold out previous shows in the past. I don't know how sales are this year, but NYC shows are popular, and this may be one of the only US dates we see this year unless we get some Christmas cheer. Personally, I always suggest buying one in advance just in case, but I'm quite neurotic about such things.

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 446 | i already have my ticket just wanted to know... cause it would be bad if it's not sold out and it's the only show in North America.
