Nearly A Band Member Posts: 378 Location: York, PA | The MetalMadLady will also be there. I will be wearing my awesome "Armadillo" painted SMF/MML TS denim jacket! I will also be staying overnight at the Herald Sq. Hotel with some of the other peeps. Income tax season is over & I'm counting down the days for a headbangin' good time. Looking forward to seeing some SMF's. Terry aka MML

Location: Rocking In The Florida Dark ! | Armadillo - 2011-04-17 9:44 PM Jim-- both Airtran and Southwest run web specials. I think my trip to Orlando was less than $190 Roundtrip, and some of the hostels in NYC are below $100, so you could probably swing it (if you're frugal) for just under $400 (meals, ticket to show, etc.) Still some coin, but well worth it. Life is short. I put the entire South America trip on three different credits cards...if I could have done it over, I would have made it to Chile and Bolivia too. Still not paid off yet....but well, I don't care. SMF Cyndi was the one who really opened my eyes to the importance of living each day in the moment--and relishing the experience life offers. I'm planning to go to the shows in Greece--I'm working three jobs right now (housemate got deployed so it's just me paying the bills now) and it will all be worth it to have the experience. These shows give me such joy--I savor each and every minute. I have had NO REGRETS. Thank you Terry -- I agree with you entirely ! Its a little expensive but its so worthwhile, I love this band so much and I love all you guys, It allways makes it just so much more fun to rock with the band and hang with you guys and the fun eating thing after. I allways cherish it so much. I really would love to do this , My friend Anthony would so like to go up there with me also, and I think most all my other friends will be there for this great event , Its a great cause that can help so many like Samantha and countless other as you said enen in your famally . Im not sure though its trully killing me to think I might have no choice , The economy didnt help my situation for the past almost two years , and while I hope for light at the end of the tunnel , I dont know if I can pull all this off in time. I need four tires on my car down here and a list of other expenses , house problems etc etc. Kinda sucks you know? You are so right though, we should do this while we can. One day it will all be gone, and its so precious to us all! Hopefully we will keep rocking with the band for years, But I love all you guys and who knows as life is never a sure thing. I still havent given up yet , But should it fall through, Please I hope all you guys know , Id so be there if I could ! You guys are the best - And to me Rockin with this band is just so great ! We all have so many years and memories hangin with this fanominal band. To me Twisted Sister and the SMF's are just the best! , Ive always felt that ! All you guys Rule ! Extreme SMF Posts: 146 Location: Fareham Hampshire UK | Glad you like the lights - but there will be no lights on the chair this year - airport security get a bit spooked by all my wires and remote contols - and no real time to fix them on once in NYC (hope to be having too much fun having lunch with important SMF(s)) - so the chair lights were just for Vegas - I figured that city was lacking a few lights!!! BUT the TS tee should be burning bright!! Seriously Rockyrandell - say Hi if you see us - it will be good to speak to some one with a 'proper accent'!!!! - (oh I hope I don't piss off too many people!!)

If we don't know now, can someone update the slamboard that afternoon? I thought the Hard Rock Cafe would be the most practical place for the SMF's to meet. Some other places around but this place fits the theme the best. It's not the cheapest place. Some great joints a bit west in Hell's Kitchen but this is right there by the venue, easy to find and fits the them of the night. I think I'm gonna hit it by 5:30. All are welcome to join me--you can't have too many SMFs around. We'll meet up with you at the show otherwise--you know how to find me. I'm usually near Jay Jay's mic
