MONEY MONEY MONEY..that is what is stopping TS from recording a new CD.. JJ is all about making money and he doesn't really care about the fans. Dee said a few years back that the band was going to record new material and then JJ came out and said he would only do it if it makes him some money.

It's funny how JJ bashed Gene Simmons about Gene is only in it for the money..but then JJ comes out and says the same thing. Nice double standard JJ...

I think every TS fan around the world deserves one last studio CD with brand new songs..Come on JJ think of us and stop only thinking of yourself..

I can see all the arguments for and against TS putting forth a new studio album. It would be a hit or miss situation with the outcome unforseeable. I mean, it worked for AC/DC when they put out Black Ice, but it hasn't worked for many others. Having seen them play Bloodstock Open Air last year, I can safely say Twisted Sister played the best I've ever seen them play. I've seen them five times now. So let's get off their backs one way or the other and let them decide whether or not they want to record a new album. However, if they did, I would definitely buy it.

There's really no reason to make a new cd,although I would be one of the first to buy it if it did happen.Simply put, the music industry isn't what it once was,& the guys have alot of things going in their lives as well, too busy to support a new album. As it is,true SMF's & even the band are completely satisfied with the way things are now,so SHUT THE FUCK UP & ENJOY WHAT THEY HAVE GIVEN YOU ALREADY!

Of all the absurd comments I have read on this board, this one is numero uno. You don't know me or the band. It's obvious because if you did you would know why we have not recorded an album of all new material. Dee has answered this question 100 times. It is not a secret. I will leave it at that.

Thanks for everything JJ! Having a brain it's not hard to figure out why a new album makes no sense. Would I love to hear a new record? Yes. Do I think you guys could make a great record? yes. If you made a record as good as any of the first 3, would the world really notice? not likely. Not a dis, just a fact of life in 2012.

I think the bands plan on limited shows, non saturation is perfect. There's a reason I don't get sick to my stomach when thinking about TS like I do KISS is because you guys have never taken advantage of us. So Thank you, Thank you Thank you. Real SMF's appreciae you.

P.S. to the bozo who mentioned KISS, did you realize Sonic boom is the first Kiss record not to go gold? That the last tour was the worst drawing one of their's in decades?

Hey Hundarr:

A bit of internet netiquette here.. you continue to necro old threads-- if a thread is six months old and hasn't had any comments since, let sleeping dogs (or giants) lie. This thread was annoying and trollish when it appeared and died June of last year which is why most let it fizzle without feeding into it. Jay Jay was kind enough to respond to your post-- let this steaming pile die.

Agreed. "Sonic Boom" also sucked. That probably had something to do with it. But they did have one other album that didn't go gold that I'm aware of. "The Elder" was a major flop even worse then "Sonic Boom" was. Although I actually like "The Elder" but it sounds absolutely nothing like any other Kiss record. If you are looking for a typical Kiss record, that one is not it.

But I agree with you on TS making a new album. As much as we'd all love it, the world at large would most likely ignore it.
