does anyone that knows Mark Mendoza, know if he still has the white 65 Gibson TBird (with broken headstock) that he bought back in '78 or has he sold/traded it or parted it out? Thanks in advance.

I STILL HAVE THE BASS. IT IS A '63. I PURCHASED THE BASS FORM JACKIE FOX, THE BASS PLAYER IN THE RUNAWAYS, WHILE I WAS IN THE DICTATORS IN 1976.

I'mthatguy, I apologize for picking nits, but that is a Gibson Thunderbird bass, The Firebird was the six stringer. An original non refinned, non broken headstock went for $6 K during the summer.

I HAVEN'T TAKEN THE THUNDERBIRD BASS TO A GIG SINCE THAT PICTURE ABOVE WAS TAKEN. NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT SELLING IT, BUT THERE IS A PRICE FOR EVERYTHING.
