Hello to all.New member here. For my first post, can someone please tell me the correct history for drummers after Tony Petri? As per most info found on the web, it states Tony, then Ritchie teeter, then Joey Brighton then AJ (after woodward) However on wikipedia and on an interview JJ did with sleazeroxx, Joey supposedly replaced Tony, and Ritchie replaced Joey.Looking at old pictures, it is difficult to distinguish Joey from Tony in old photos.Back in 1980, I met Tony one night before he went on to play at Speaks in LI NY. My wife says it was Joey. We need to settle this once and for all. I believe I'm right, but finding a picture of Tony and Joey that show them clearly is proving to be difficult. I do remember that my girlfriend had a poster of TS that was given at the door at Speaks one night. In that poster, there were pictures of each member with their names and a group shot as well.I also believe it was some sort of calender.Does anyone remember such a poster? That would be my proof.
Thanks to all for any help/info they can provide-

Richie replaced Tony. Richie was a short term replacement who I believe only played at a few shows, including the first Palladium show.

I think it was the second Palladium show.

unfortunately, JJ has stated in an interview that Joey replaced Tony, then Ritchie replaced Joey.Until I find that poster, I cant win this argument.(I even showed her Joey playing on the Flo & Eddie , but she says its not him) Does anyone remember the posters they used to give out at Speaks?

Sorry if I actually did an interview where the history of our drummers created a confusion. Herewith is the actual time line once and for all:

Tony Petri joined on April 1st 1976.

We made a calender poster in 1979. Tony Petri was the drummer in that poster.

Richie Teeter replaced Tony Petri on December 13th 1980. Richie agreed to stay on temporarily until we could find a 'permanent' replacement. He lasted 3 1/2 months.

Joey Markowsky (Joey Brighton) Joined April 1981.

AJ Pero replaced Joey April 1st 1982

there was never a drummer named 'Woodward' who was a member of the band.

The brand new CD/DVD of 'Under the Blade'/ Live at Reading and the new 'Double Live" DVD tells the whole drummer story.

Happy holidays!

JJ thank you from the bottom of my heart. The poster with Tony is my proof. We both agreed the one on the poster was whom I spoke with that night.
One thing that confused me and made me question myself is...were they both sort of short in height? They look similar in photos that I found online. Once again, Thanks...I get my "reward" from her for being right!!!
