I'll be sniffing around the civic center early to maybe grab an earful outside of the sound check (I've been lucky before) unless it's raining, in which case I might melt....

Otherwise, I'll be hobbling around the local coffee shops--wonder if I can get the TS roadies to tape up my cane with pink gaffer tape....don't have trouble walking but I am having a rough time standing on hard surfaces for more than 15 min at a time.....

Not sure what time exactly I'm rolling into town, but I'll probably be ready to eat most likely before and after the show. Union Square looks decent. What other choices are there?

there is a nice little diner place across the street from the civic center called "Alex's Restaurant" inexpensive and good food--Chris "capt Howdy" and I just grabbed some lunch. had our first "twisted" sighting of the day out and about in Poughkeepsie

gonna probably take a pre-show nap after a bit of surfing

I had a Southwest omlette and sweet taters at a local cafe located in a strip mall called Sugar and Spice a little outside of the downtown area south on Hwy 9. Food and the coffee was great. Service was excellent as well.
