Elite SMF Posts: 238 Location: Dallas | Ask and you shall receive!!! I might be able to make this show provided SWA doesn't have any blackout dates around the date/time of this concert! I've been to Buffalo but I can't quite say I've been to Poughkeepsie! "Thirty came and went a long long time ago!" Serg33

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | Sorry Chris... I'm going to do the train for this one! (last time I visited Poughkeepsie for Twisted it snowed about a foot! I was grateful to be watching it all from the train) The train station, by the way, is walking distance to the Hudson Civic Center (unless google maps lies).

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | Hey George I always eat before....and after.... I tend to eat late afternoon very early evening so that I can get the venue very early before doors open. Look forward to seeing you there! C'mon slamboarders--this is for deserving charitable cause....it's in Poughkeepsie so the bobcats and vods can finally be happy.....and it's not christmas for all you grinches.... get out there, support a good cause and rock out to the one, the only, Twisted Fuckin' Sister!

Full-On SMF Posts: 96 | Hey Chris(Cptn Howdy) I'm driving up from north jersey. I can't deal with JFK, but if you could get more into the city somewhere I could most likely give you a ride.

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | Just gave a listen to Poughkeepsie band 3 Up & 3 Down-- I haven't listened to any of their originals yet, but their facebook page has some of their covers--I was impressed. Decent cover of "Holy Diver" I think we're in for an EXCELLENT show--good warmup band, plus Y & T (which will be a bit bittersweet--this will be my first time seeing them without Phil on bass)-- and I'm hoping for a great setlist from the boys in the pink and black. in fact...I'll think I'll start a new wishlist thread....

Last time I saw some of you was at the Chance.. and a Christmas show somewhere in NJ.... Theres a new place right down the street called Union Square, used to be called the mad hatter... http://unionsquarepok.com/ would be a good place to meet up.. and really close to the civic center...
