Fellow SMF's going to the Poughkeepsie show this Saturday, I'm in need of a ride to and from the show. I live in the Kingston area, only 23 miles from the civic center. I saw TS there multiple times in the early 80's, and the last 2 times in 2004 and 2005. Since then, my one piece of crap ex wife really messed up my life since 2009, I live alone in a studio apt and work my fairly low paying full time job, and I haven't had a car for a long time now as I barely scrape by month to month and haven't been able to manage to save up to get another one. I'm willing to pay $10 for gas for a ride there and back, I'm assuming there must be some people on this board who will be driving in this general area for the show. Can anyone here help me out? If I miss this show simply due to my own lack of transportation, I'm gonna be beyond bummed out.

the train station is just a few short blocks--there is a direct train from Penn Station NYC-- if you can't swing a SMF ride...good luck and I hope you make it!

I'm 23 miles north of Poughkeepsie, not 100 miles south down in NYC, there isn't a bus or a train by me that goes there cuz this area is kind of in the sticks. :-/
