Nearly A Band Member Posts: 717 Location: Chicago | I was a little skeptical initially but I'm digging it. Some of it comes off as a little corny but most of it is very cool. “Mack the Knife” and “Luck Be A Lady” friggin’ rock! This will definitely be in heavy rotation for a while.

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 834 Location: Auchenblae, Scotland | Been on fairly heavy play for a couple of day's now............. Fave's have to be: 'Mack The Knife' 'The Joint Is Jumping' 'Sweeney Todd' 'Razzle Dazzle' Not so sure about 'Lola' but each to their own I guess. Liked the cowbells at the start of "Razzle Dazzle" (shades of WNGTI?). Also impressed with Dee's ability to carry off 'Sweeney Todd' - there are some real tongue-twisters of lines in there. Finally (and this will probably make more sense for the Brits on here) when I listen to "Nothing like a Dame" I keep getting the 1977 Morecambe & Wise musical sketch in my head (the one with the BBC TV presenters and weathermen in it) I have this very odd picture of Dee and the guys bouncing round the stage in sailor suits - weird image!!!

For years I've secretly enjoyed musicals....and now I can no longer hide and hang my hat in shame when I sing "Whatever Lola wants..." But this thread gives me an idea.... time for a twisted thread... Let's rename or nickname the songs.... "Whatever Lola Wants" new metal name: "B*tch gets it all"

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 717 Location: Chicago | "Luck be a Lady" is awesome! "She blew on another guy's dice, Those aren't Dice!" LMFAO!!!! Who knew Clay Aiken could rock out and keep up with Dee. I guess Dee taught him a thing or two during his time on Celebrity Apprentice! Dee made a crap load of money for charity AND got Clay Aiken to rock! Now that's impressive!!!

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | oh man I can't wait! (I think this pretty much will deep six the American Idol rants now--they've played with Constantine and now Clay with Dee) Hey Chris Did Dee recognize you at all or were you suit & tie so he didn't see through your clever disguise? I remember all the nervousness before the Christmas album...and look how cool that turned out to be?? Shit, I've been humming "Luck Be a Lady" all week...

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 717 Location: Chicago | I doubt he recognized me. No suit and tie but I was dressed for work. No TS t-shirt. LOL! I thought about mentioning that I'm usually the guy standing next to Armadillo down front but decided to keep it short since he looked like he was in a hurry. On second thought, maybe I should have thrown your name around. That probably would have bought me a few more minutes. LOL!

Shit, I've been humming "Luck Be a Lady" all week... I almost forgot. How ever you've been humming "Luck Be a Lady", you will never hum it the same way again after you hear Dee's version! You'll be head banging to it instead! LOL!

Another heavy metal stalker" All of the band members have always been very gracious about chatting with fans--it's really special that they recognize just how important and significant those "30 seconds" are to us.
