Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | Me neither. I saw it as a sign of trust--I was given Jay Jay's guitar to take on the van to the show and let me tell you, I guarded that guitar with my life! Just wish I had some form of musical background so that I could have been more of a help. Glad I took a ton of ibuprofen before the show--I would have never been able to carry anything up those stairs--took a lot more today! Lying in bed right now trying to rest my hip. FYI: MAM did receive your care package--your information is still current! (and he sends his regards)

Extreme SMF Posts: 158 | Terry!! Good job my son!! Awsome report!! That set list freaked me out...Wake up the sleeping Giant and Its Only Rock'n'Roll (my favorite cover of all time) on the same setlist.....struth!! Hope the boys bring that list home with them. It is about time that the guys recognized LIFS for what it is...a great record!!...Sure...its a bit "poppy"....but is it any worse than Leader of the Pack?? No!! In many ways I prefer it to COAP. Beefed up through the TS live 'sound' I am sure any song from LIFS is a killer!!! (I'm sure I have a bootleg of Dee's SMF's somewhere....) Glad you liked the Darkness too. Probably the only front man who could try and keep up with Dee. Great tunes and "very tongue in cheek" (which we Brits are anyway...which means we take the pi** a lot!!...LOL!!) Waiting for the next installment....and dont be dropping any guitars buddy!!.... Enjoy!! Evel Phx Az

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 513 Location: New Fuckin Yawk | Awesome road report and setlist Armadillo! The only time I have ever heard Wake Up the Sleeping Giant live was a few years ago in NYC. I remember sitting around for sound check and they started playing it...I was like "holy shit" and just took it all in. Then they played the song during the actual show. My veins were pumping for that song. So for all you SMFs out there who say they never play songs from the Love is for Suckers album......the proof is in the pudding! Terry.....take care and be well my friend. Rest up as I'm sure you have more road reports coming soon!

Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | man...I typed this whole thing and then lost the connection.... glad y'all liked the report--I felt a bit off my game, truth be told. Believe me, I wish I could tell you all the details that DON'T make the report but some things don't leave the Twisted circle of trust. (or the cone of silence, if that works for you) getting ready for Sweden--I can hardly wait!

Awesome report, but I'm not from Sweden, I'm from Norway! I saw you wrote about me, so I had to comment! Edited by EliseOlavsen 2012-06-05 2:09 PM

Oh my goodness Elise I'll have to issue ANOTHER retraction--that's the cardinal sin here, to mix up Norway and Sweden! It was delightful to meet you--my apologies for the error! T.
