1 PM until....whenever...
Lots of local bands, charity auctions and of course....A.J. Pero!
Today at the Rec Room in Towson, Maryland (2 miles from home--yay!)

To benefit Fallen Blue, a charity supporting the families of police officers who die outside the line of duty or don't qualify for line of duty deaths. A. J. is the national spokesperson for Fallen Blue-- hope some of you Baltimore folks have finished pumping the water out of your basements and can join us!

So here's the irony in this...
I COULD actually walk to this theatre--it's not quite 3 miles from home--

guess what I'm doing today? Got up a 5 am....Driving the artists from the hotel to the airport....so today alone, I'll likely log in about...180 miles of driving...(they are staying in a hotel that's 2 counties away from the gig--3 counties away from the airport!)

But hey...my "twisted roadie fantasy camp" training came in handy--I knew how to handle the instruments and pack 'em in the truck to minimize movement....avoided any unnecessary conversation with the artists.... and as soon as I pulled up to the curb at BWI...stopped right in front of the paycarts and loaded a cart up lickety split with the equipment/bags.

Off to nap for a couple of hours--have two more runs this afternoon! And yes....I'm lovin' every minute of it!
