Nearly A Band Member Posts: 891 Location: Dream Street | Anyone intend to attend? It's a charity event for Sandy relief so tickets aren't cheap. We're talking at least a couple hundred bucks. It's not on the venue's website yet (http://www.citynationalgroveofanaheim.com/events/index.asp). Here's another site that has early ticket auction. http://www.charitybuzz.com/auctions/maroon5sandy/catalog_items/330301 January 24th(Thurs) in Anaheim, CA (near Disney Land) If anyone from out of town plans to attend, I have room for a 2 or 3 people to crash. Location: Rocking In The Florida Dark ! | Hi Jaysin , Geeee my friend --- for me it seems so hard these days. Girlfriend in a hospital a hour and a half north on Hwy 95 of where I live and school the same the other way worrking - 16 hours a day and on call once every five days that can go to 3am. Well point being I didnt enen remember with all this hassle in my life when you were coming to the south Florida area but really thought it would be cool to see you. I sent you my contact numbers on the sites PM section -- havent heard anything yet -- Was it around Chaunika or Christmas? I hope I can get togeather with you -- its really a tough life right now but some fun would certainly help with that even if I have to miss something. Mid term exams are next week then school doesnt resume untill I think the professorsaid january nd. -- yea and why the hell am I in school to begin with at this point in my life? I have to ask the same question-- Apparently the economy got so bad a electrical degree isnt enough to make it in this mess we are in.----- well I dont know Anyway -- If I havent messed that up too, Let me know when you will be in town, perhaps I can return the favor of some fun over here in the Florida area. Your a good guy Jaysin! trying to help people in this above artical should let everyone realize that which I knew a long time ago. Peace my friend! sorry about the Typos apparently dons program here doesnt allow for much sentence restructure unless you want or have time to retype the whole thing -- anyway Im here for you if I can be . SMF 1st Class Posts: 12 | I saw it on AXSTV (formerly HDNET) the other night. It lasted 2 and a half hours. It was too long. Some of it was funny some of it not. I actually felt bad for Lita Ford. She is going through such a tough time in her life and she obviously did not understand that roasts rip everybody with a no holds barred attitude. She took a beating from almost everyone and when it came time for her to get payback she just couldn't do it. I almost thought at one time she may cry. That part was bad. Otherwise it wasn't bad. Shane Snider was suprisingly insightful and funny as was Jim Norton & Florentine. Penn Jillette however stole the show in my opinion he was great. Dee seemed to get a kick out of the whole thing but in the end I think he realised that it went on too long. The Audience was getting ansy so he said his peace and called it a night.

I thought Penn was garbage..not rotten garbage, but more like fresh trash. And Metcalf's opening was painful. Otherwise not too too bad. But it was annoying how every 3rd joke someone would say "just kidding". I ended up screwing up dates so I couldn't make it. I had a wedding to attend on the weekend and Thursday night was the wedding party rehearsal up in Pomona so it just didn't work out.
